theres gotta be something more to it. i cant imagine a player using those words just because of something like that

This is Verdasco, he has had a few rants.

Maybe he got a big fine for cursing, yelling at the linesmen and suggesting Jake Garner just give the match to Haase yesterday.

Almost as big thieves as ATP, must agree here reluctantly with the gel man.

I heard he wasn't speaking about the tennis federation, it has something to do with a group of people whining on tax havens in Spain.

Yes, so are the ATP, FIFA and IOC

Wonders will never cease. Verdasco has done something interesting.

Even if it is only to tweet a message that is simultaneously blunt and mysterious.

Nando pulled a Donald and deleted his twitter account.

How many more players will commit twitter suicide?

Obviously this is no longer an isolated incident.

ITF is hacking players' accounts and deleting them if they so much as speak a word against the organization.

Feli spends more time with Rafa these days than Nando. Whats up?

+1. When will this idiot just go away for good? It's not enough that he loses every single week in a worse fashion than the week before, but we have to constantly hear him whine about everything under the sun as well. I can't wait for the day when he is out of the top 100 and completely irrelevant.

If they're still going on about the Davis Cup surface, then

Nando blames everyone, from the French crowd to Milos' serve to the ITF. None of his losses are ever his fault. :o

The ITF rejected the Spanish appeal about the surface for Davis Cup.

But has there been another ruling?? I thought the April 22 decision was the final ruling. I can't find anything recent. You don't tweet your reaction 3 months later

If it's about a monetary fine stemming from his conduct during the Haase match, then that would be recent and make more sense. was he fined? anyone know?

via Tennis-x:

After being fined $5,000 for an audible obscenity at Wimbledon, Spaniard Fernando Verdasco tweeted "ITF (equals) Thieves (equals) shameful" then deleted it.

i wasn't able to see the match at where he's supposedly let some audible obscenity occur. Can someone tell me what exactly happened?

relax everyone, leave him alone......there are stefan edberg sportsmanship award winners going nuts over the chair for their own inability to use the challenge system, what is verdasco compared to them? heck they even fined him which they would never dare to do to that fragile ego queen who loses his head whenever he is losing.......

That sportsmanship award they stole last year from more deserving players was indeed shameful.

Verdasco sometimes shouts "Puta!" so passionately on court it's like he's asking for one to be waiting for him at the change of ends.

But just like when Rusedski argued at the USO that he shouted "Fudge!" and not "Fuck!" to dodge a $10,000 fine, Verdasco should claim that he's shouting "Punta!" With the way he's being playing this season, I think he's within his rights to beg desperately for points.
