Marcos played well, the forehandf was working. At the same time Seppi had chances in the 2nd set and served for the 3rd. Had break point before going off for the second time.

rain delay almost certainly helped marcos out here

Baggy is my boy but he needs to improve his first serve % if he wants to give Novak any kind of test

Baghdatis isn't even close to a fat boy at the moment.

Well played Baggy, about time he focused on the tennis. Too bad for Seppi, he was a chance in all of the sets but he's never been the best in tight situations.

:haha: Mugdatis can only give Djokovic a "scare" of losing two or maybe even 3 games per set.

Scrappy match, decent quality, they play similar styles, Baghdatis was a little more solid and has a better serve, that made the difference. Seppi was the more offensive player at the end of the final two sets, but made costly errors at inopportune times.

Marcos will probably be destroyed by Djokovic, but this is a good win for him after this season of struggles.

Nice to see Baggy winning a couple of matches in a row and more than likely being taken down my Djoker. At least he'll be losing to a top player rather than random people as he has been this year, so positive signs for him.

No, it shows you lack analytical skills. There isn't much between them as for Eastbourne very windy playing 6 sets in 1 day. It's irrelevant as no same day or conditions can be cloned.

Well, it looks almost normal again to see Baghdatis winning again...

Happy Marcos is playing well. Been a while. :) Now just test Djoker a little. :yeah:

Seppi was in this match, especially 2nd and 3rd set and should be unhappy he didnt at least make more of this.

He could clinch at least that 3rd set. And goddamn rain delays didn't help him as well.

Continue with this form, it was a great comeback from an injury! At this rate he will be in top shape just around Umag time :D :cheerleader: And I'm serious about this.

mug - theres your analysis.

seppi had so many chances, (i.e. serving for the set) and failed to even take a set against baghdatis.

Congrats Bagdhatis, he was the better player on court by far.
I still don't like Seppia's unemotional attitude on court, he always gives me the idea of a player who "doesn't care of the match".
