Stupid match. Plays a great return game to take the 3rd and then throws the 4th away, what a player.

Haase was ready to gift Verdasco the victory after blowing up in the third set, but Verdasco wouldn't let him and struck back with being broken in the first game. Great victory nevertheless by Haase!

Verdasco shouting ''Give him the match also'' against the umpire after receiving a warning and throwing in some ''fuck''s during the following changeover was priceless

horrendous match, so many errors from verdasco, terrible line calls, lucky hits.

Can't believe Fiasco managed to reach the 2nd round. Good win for Haase.

PS How do you pronounce Haase's name? The commentator was calling him Haas.Isn't the final "e" stressed?

Can't stand Fernando's attitude lately :o

Happy for Robin, he totally deserved it. Get your shit together, Fernando.

Haase did what Stepanek should have.

Awesome! Finally no choke-jobs from Haase this time - Fiasco, however... 44 UEs, 11 DFs :tape:

Haase got a scare when he fell on his knee again, but fortunately there was nothing wrong. Great victory for the guy, just what he needed to take his next step ahead on the rankings. :worship:

Very happy for Robin with this win. Of course Nando played poor and made so many UE's and DF's, but it's still a very decent win.

Finally, at least one of my faves is still here.. sheesh. Some great shots from Haase today mixed with some irregularities as can be expected sometimes. I'm well chuffed.

Haase did what Stepanek should have.

Yup, was thinking that. Stepanek should be kicking himself with the chances he had, and against such a mug.

Verdasco lost one round later than he should've.

Kinda bad match. Verdasco trying to play the big hitting game on grass but doesn't have the skill to back it up so hits errors and instead of changing his game he tries even harder leading to more errors and even taking it out on the judges. Needs to go back to his house and get his shit in order

Did he get the warning from time wasting? Because I spaced out a bit at that point, noticed that the commentators were talking about Verdasco being angry but didn't get the reason.

I didn't see it happening, but I read somewhere on the net that Verdasco got a warning and even a point penalty for *cursing*.
And oh yes, he was... :tape:

Typical Nando.. fights back hard to win a match only to implode and lose his next match.. sigh. It's not fun being a fan of him right now :(

Apparently he was pissed a line judge made a call and Garner overuled it or something, so Fernando yelled "Why don't you just fucking give him the match?" or something to that extent.

Thanks.

On the Dutch sites he was reported to have been :shout: :shout: :shout:-yapping a lot more, but of course it could well be that those are biased.

 btw - even if I make a lot of fun of him at times, it's not because of me 'hating' Verdasco, or anything the like. I even bash my favourite players when they make an a$$ of themselves, as you know. ;)

Nando. No comment.

Haase was really overdue a solid run at a slam. Go deep baby, go deep.

Nice to see Verdasco go down in the rankings. Milos is almost ranked higher now, too bad about today's injruy.
