I have to say that Bolelli played well from what I've seen end of third set, but there is no excuse that Stan loses this.

After a terrible clay court season, he had a good RG. He is usually very good and decent in Grand Slams.
So losing against Ward in his first grass match, I can deal with. But losing in straight to fucking Bolelli after having so many chances, really unacceptable.

I've given up on him. How can you be so abysmal after one of the best starts of the season?!

Wawrinka just played way too passively imo, all he did was stand way behind the baseline and feed Bolelli slices right to his forehand. and he kept hitting winner after winner. 4-4 in the tiebreak and Bolelli hit a beauty fh pass down the line

Retirement is the only answer when you lose to Bolelli, especially like this. I hope not to see Wawrinka's name anymore on the ATP tour.

They do have similar styles but Simone's game is a little more offensive, he hits the ball flatter, his ground strokes are a little more compact, and he moves a little bit better. And that is what made the difference today, as I expected it to, on grass. On clay, I think Stan would win this match, but on quicker courts, Simone can force his game on Stan.

I know it most likely won't be, but hopefully this is the start of Simone actually putting himself together.

He is down to play i Braunschweig, and I know he probably will not now, but if he loses to Gasquet I think it would still be a good option. As of now his ranking is still basically the same because last year he won that challenger event, so if he does lose, playing the challenger next week would be a bonus for his ranking should be get to at least QF and push him towards top 100.

Saw this live... Bolelli was just hitting the ball so much harder than Stan. And his depth was much much better, consistently pushing Stan back. Stan's serve is what kept it as close as it was... other than that thoroughly outplayed.
