Well played by Tomas, but Benneteau was just awful, no other word for his performance today. Came out and played a horrible 1st set, served terrible and couldn't hold his serve once in three attempts. Second set was closer because Benneteau finally picked up his serve, was still too shaky on the groundies though. Nevertheless he had a good chance at 4-3* when the game when to deuce, just couldn't capitalize and went on to lose the set. Third set was a cracker from Tomas then, hit the ball very confident and showed some great winners, fair played. Quite a nice performance, though there was little resistance from the other side of the net for the most part.

42 winners 9 unforced errors! Fuck that was stupidly impressive!

Berdych seems to be in good form. Nice to see. Hope he makes it to the QF against Nadal.

Easy win, cruising through so far, the draw has helped.

Since FiloV said Benneteau had a great chance here, we all knew it was going to be a Berdych´s massacre

Benneteau probably out of top 100 with this, and I say it is deserved. But that leaves only 8 French in the top 100.

All those people with their expert opinions of Berdychs bad form will come crying eventually. He didn't look bad in Halle and he looks on fire now. The man knows how to play on grass. Deal with it.

Well, truth be said, I thought Tomas still looked a bit shaky in Halle.
But obviously it has been an excellent preparation for him, as he looks really good right now. I'm glad, I don't want to see him lose too many points, and as such he should go far this Wimbledon.

The Berdman is looking increasingly dangerous as the rounds wear on.

Bogomolov next as well, this could be his easiest round yet, wouldn't be surprised to see another thrashing.

he'll still turn into a flop when he meets Nadal

But it's Rafa :( He deserves everyone else on tour to bend down to him! Fuck Novak for being the exception :bigcry:

he always looks good but fails to win a title for over 2 years. what a player.

nadal is going to rip him a fat one in the QFs.

Seems like Berdych found the right path after one year of coolin off. Nice to see agressive, attacking tennis from him. Now mental will decide his run.
