This can be a good match. Probably lots of play on the points considering Ferrers good returning but weaker serving. I think Harrison can trouble him but the question is if he got the mental strength for tight sets and potential tiebreaks. I could see an upset in this match but only if Harrison can get off to a good start and somehow keeps it together mentally, probably he can't but who knows, he got a great game in him

Pics in 3. He feasts on youngsters and exploits their weaknesses.

You can still add one by clicking on thread tools.

I would love to see this match. I'm expecting a fair few breaks for a grass court match. I think Harrison can make this competitive.

Harrison is too inconsistent and doesn't have a big enough weapon to hurt David. And neither are particularly good on grass. So I think Ferrer takes this in 3....in 4 if Harrison plays lights out.

I hope both of them will play good. I think Ferru will win in 3 or 4 sets. :)

So looks like I was wrong there...Harrison up 2 sets to 1 and Ferrer is up a break in the 4th set before the stoppage. Ferrer still has the advantage but Harrison is making it pretty interesting. Harrison is clearly a guy that can raise his level big time in a one-match situation. I'd like to see a lot more consistency from him, but i've been impressed.

Every time I watch Harrison, it feels like he has to play high risk, red line tennis to stay in it against good players. And the moment his level dips, the opponent beats him pretty soundly. Reminds me of James Blake in that way...except an on fire Blake could beat anybody whereas Harrison doesn't have weapons quite like Blake.

But watching this match against Ferrer, it seems like a lot of those risks he seems to be taking aren't quite as risky as they seem. He pretty consistently goes for big 2nd serves...maybe more often than anybody i've ever seen. It's very ballsy, and while he picks up a few DF's, he seems pretty confident and comfortable doing it and it's certainly effective. He goes to net more often than most players, sometimes off of his return when he nails one back deep....but again though generally a risky move, he seems to do pretty decently in these situations. And out of nowhere in many rallies, he'll just unload on a shot(again Blake-like), which has to be unsettling for his opponent because they can't get as comfortable in rallies.

Look forward to the rest of this match tomorrow.

i still think ferrer will take this in 5

he should close out the 5th set and then he will take more than likely a drawn out 5th set
