Comfortable, clean win for Djokovic. Good to see. Hoping for his best Wimbledon run yet.

Chardy was pretty bad in the latter two sets, though. Could not put the ball back in play to save his life.

This is the truth.

However, once every blue moon, when all the stars align properly, and there is a solar eclipse, and Punxsutawney Phil does not see his shadow, Chardy's wildly bashed groundstrokes will all go in and he pulls a big upset.

Am I only one afraid that this practice session was very short... ; )

Guess Djokovic had stocked up on too much gluten filled bread so he had to serve a double breadstick

Nole doing what he does best... giving bagels and breadsticks. Starting the new streak... :sport:

Chardy is a Tennis player? My 10 year old brother can hit the ball with the racket more times than this mug can.

Nole destroyed Simon last week 6-2 6-1 too, I think he has adapted pretty well to grass. He's the same guy that has been dominating the field for the last six months.

Chardy was simply terrible! Great start for Nole though :) In any case, I don't think Soderling will be a problem in the QF. He certainly seemed to be in bad form today. Federer, however, is always a worry (to anyone except Nadal, sadly).

I need more to be convinced. The fact is he hasn't been really tested... yet.But his game develops nice that's for sure.

Very easy win for Djokovic, didn't have to break much of a sweat though as Chardy was pretty damn bad. Looking forward to seeing how he does.

Nole played well, but since Chardy didn't put balls in the court often enough and has absolutely no backhand, it's hard to take much from this.

He does have a comfortable draw to work himself into the event so this is a good easy start.

Bad draw for Jeremy.

But Nole :hearts:. I love his grass game.

Chardy was very dangerous until the end of the 1st set. Then he started to choke terribly. Until that, he served big and very well, and played very agressively. I still don't understand how somebody can be a choker like this. After the 1st set it was obvious that they're gonna play 3 sets.

Chardy somehow ended up with more winners than errors (22/21), totally misleading.
