I hope I'm gonna lose the points in PAW for not picking him, but hey, I couldn't care less for 7 points, while if Ferrer wins I get 14. But I'd rather I won nothing. These points would be a bit of consolation tho.

10-06-2004, 09:24 AM
yay!!! I hope he wins this tournament his ranking can be boosted a bit. Sigue así Juanqui!!!

10-07-2004, 01:35 AM
ack....don't hurt me, but I don't think JC will defend it [Madrid] successfully... I'm still praying for a miracle though!! But if he wins a few matches in Lyon, then maybe he might have a better chance... Uhhh... am I making any sense?

Juanqui lost against Ferrer.
Now it's pretty shure he doesn't go to the Masters.
Do they actually look to the champions race at the masters?

10-07-2004, 05:09 PM

10-08-2004, 02:09 AM
I don't think he needs luck, I think he needs a miracle :| Poor JC.... Apparently his position in the DC team isn't guaranteed anymore

10-08-2004, 02:18 AM
JC:sad:! Do your best in Madrid:)!

10-08-2004, 07:13 AM
Apparently his position in the DC team isn't guaranteed anymore

id say his place in d team is safe enud....whether he'll actually play is another thing.

10-08-2004, 08:08 AM
I reckon he'll play

No!! I change my mind. He might not... they'll get Rafa or something to play for him... That sucks :(

10-08-2004, 10:35 AM
I think he will be in the team but I doubt he'll play if guys like Rafi, Tommy,Feli or Fer play well. But Fer and Rafi have been losing lately so he Juanqui remains one of the most important guys in the team. And Moya is injured.

10-08-2004, 11:26 AM
WHAT, he might not get to play? but on clay he's almost invincible, especially against the americans

10-08-2004, 04:12 PM
I'm so upset for his 2nd rd loss again! But as a fan I'll support him
thru thick & thin and hope he'll come back strong very soon!

10-08-2004, 04:19 PM
My head says he wont defend Madrid, but my heart says he will :)

10-08-2004, 04:26 PM
well listen 2 ur head.

cos as much as i wish n hope it can happen, it aint gonna.

realisticially speaking.

10-08-2004, 05:51 PM
Maybe have to listen to your head.Defending Madrid is extremely hard to him,but I think this time he may at lease go into R3. :)
Juan, :hearts: there are many lovers to support you,do you know and have you seen this forum? pls wake up,listen to our view is better than those obstructers.

10-08-2004, 06:24 PM
There's no way he's going to defend Madrid now

10-08-2004, 10:03 PM
Nope, that certainly isn't happening. I think he has the same problem Lleyton Hewitt had last year, he's burnt out, but he's carrying on playing through it, rather than taking a break which i thought he should have done.

I hope it doesn't affect him in the long run, i'm not too worried about the rest of the year.

10-08-2004, 10:38 PM
WHAT, he might not get to play? but on clay he's almost invincible, especially against the americans

I hate to say this but at the moment i don't think he is, normally there's no way they would beat him. But at the moment who knows, i think they would fancy their chances against him.

10-08-2004, 10:43 PM
True, remember this year he has one 2 matches on clay i think :o

10-08-2004, 10:48 PM
This is from Lyon. My French isn't that good but i think it said award for most fashionable man ;)

10-09-2004, 06:41 AM
Most Fashionable Man - ???? But he does look a bit fashionable in that pic.

I'm not sure whether he is sure of what he is doing. I reckon he should take a break than keep losing to some unknown and giving them 15 mins of fame.

He will be in the team - but not sure Jordi will make him play or not, coz Rafa and Robredo are in a different class when it comes to DC, particularly Rafa. If Moya is not injured, he will be first choice - and the second player might be Rafa.

Forget defending his title in Madrid. I've given up for this year (finally)
