Tomic passed the qualy without big problems.
Davy isn't in his best shape, but he also isn't in his worst.
He's recovring, he won one title this year.

Could Tomic grab a set? or maybe 2?
Will Tomic be a big surprise of Wimbledon defeating Kolya?
What do you think...

Unfortunately Tomic will win this. Tomic is the favorite, BTW

go with tomic here, guy earn the entrance in the hard way, he has some matches on the surface and it is a big advantage against a mafiadenko that struggles on this surface and its been out of form for quite a while.

come on tomug, time to show you are the real number 1.

Kolya

I wouldn't be surprised if Tomic win.
Davydenko has to win but we know how is his form recently. And Bernard seems convincing.

Tomic. Kolya's been playing awful recently, and it's not like he was ever good on grass anyway.

Even though this is grass, if Kolya loses this then he better retire.

5th Grand Slam win for Bernard

I'm just so happy to see a 'Q' next to Tomic's name instead of a water closet.

Great draw for Tomic. It's a chance to beat a top 30 player for the first time. But I am worried as Davydenko takes the ball early which could trouble Tomic a lot.

Tomic will win this in 3 easy sets. I mean like 6-4,7-6,6-3.

I think Davydenko will find something. I've said here that he'll win in straights. You never know with Tomic's young and mentally vulnerable game, but. It's come along a touch since the 'I took it to Nadal' days, for sure.

I cant belive everyone is saying Tomic. I mean i am one of his biggest fans but im not feeling confident about this. I would happily be proven wrong though :D.

Given Davydenko's long-standing tendency to tank Wimbledon and get straight back on the clay, Tomic in 3/4 has to be the most likely outcome.

When Davy's losing to Veic you know Tomic is the favourite.

I can't call it, Tomic is probably the favorite, but I can see Davydenko taking this in straights. It's hard to envision exactly how this match will play out.

I'm a bit surprised of anyone saying Tomic is the favorite.
I know, he could win, he has chances.
But Davy is Davy, and if Bernard takes this match, it would be his best match of his career by far.

A fan of neither players. But I'm pulling with Tomic in a 5 set mugfest.

Davydenko lost to Falla in R1 few years back when he was playing better than now. He also lost to Brands last year. So this is Tomic's match to lose.

I feel like Tomic will have a small run at Wimbledon this year. His game suits current grass IMO, and I always back qualifiers to exceed expectations.

Also Denko truly sucks on grass, but you never know with him.

Tomic definitely has a chance against Davydenko. I'm going with Tomic to make it all the way to the 3rd round.

Would be great for the game if this bald mug went out early. His presence taints Wimbledon.

Even though Tomic had a good qualifying round, I'm still going with Davydenko here. Tomic isn't the athlete he should be by this age. I think he'll have trouble against Davydenko who'll take advantage of his slow movement around the court. As long as Koyla has an okay day with his serve, it shouldn't take him more than 4 sets.

Denko better win or just retire / have a break to get things sorted out. There are no excuses left to his poor form.

he might win but there's no way in hell he will let himself get destroyed by the little brat even if it is on grass

Davydenko was hopeless on the surface even at his peak

Now he is just hopeless
