I love this threads!!!

Guys on the bottom will never be Grand Slam champions, Berdych can't win ATP 250 tournament

Murray deserves it and will get it, just don't know how soon

I think Murray will win 1. Either Aus or US. Most likely the US where he triumphed as a junior. I also don't think Djokovic is going to get as high as 7. Look we've been spoilt by all these record breaking players. But winning 7 G's puts you amongst the greatest that played the game. Do we really think Djoko has what it takes for that? I'm not sure. All these figures do depend on how long Federer sticks around. Who must likely they'll keep having to face in the semi's/finals. Nadal has 4-5 years left. He's only a year older than Murray and Djoko...

Stop being such a know-it-all. Its an interesting question to pose. If you thought it wasn't a sensible question, you should have not clicked on the thread.

I wouldn't have predicted him going on a 40 match winning streak a year ago either. What's so strange about him winning a few more AOs and even a US Open, which he's been to the final 2 times? I can see him winning the French as well.

Del Potro's only problem will be his injuries. Because of his built, he gets easily injured. I think he can win 5-6 slams without injuries. Fed will stop before 18. Nadal will break Sampras record surely, Djokovic won't get over 6. Murray...haha tell me another joke.

Having seen fed defeat Novak & his bh held up against nadull @ RG clay...I'll say fed ends with 18 slams. Could have been more if he could keep his nerve on big points but his game should give him 2 more.
Nadull 13/14..I see Novak/Murray/del-po stopping him on HC,,he will win on clay n' grass though.
Novak--- gave up a golden opportunity for a RG title so I give him 6/7,,as bh oriented players don't dominate the sport.
Murray 3/4 ,,once he overcomes his intiall hurdle he would be OK ala lendl.
Del-po--2/3 if lucky too injury prone.
Soderling 1--thats me wishfull thinking.
Berdych --0.

it could happen, i just think that his best chances for Grand Slams are at Australia and the US OPEN and I don't see him winning them three times in a row.... Grass he really is not very good on- WIMBLEDON- and Roland Garros, his chances really would depend on Del Potro remaining injured and Nadal dropping his game. plus add in the fact that DJoker can be really streaky (aside from the first half of 2011), it just seems like playing a big hand at cards, to say that he'll win 2 for the next 3 years

Are you guys kidding me? I can't see Murray winning more than 2.

And I'm a hardcore Muzza fan.

And even those 2 will be flukey... He has to get lucky with his opponent in the final.

He needs Nadal on a hardcourt final to win a slam IMO or Soderling, basically someone who flukes it to the final by knocking out one of the top 2/3, also needs a favourable mug draw like FO 2011.

Novak will bone him, hopefully Olderer will retire soon.

As I am neutral for all(most) of them,I think this is quite objective opinion

Federer-16(17)- He could win max. one more slam and it cuold/should be this years W or USO.
Nadal- 10(15-18)- He is comming in the best tennis ages. Roger at year of 25(let's say that it was 2006) won 3 out of 4 GSs, same goes for 2007.

I am afraid that Rafa will be too strong in following 2 or 3 years and that he will win most of them. Other players who can win "leftovers" are:

Djokovic- 2(4-5)- Definitely material for few more slams, he'll win one more AO and one USO.
Murray- 0(0-3)- I hope he won't win any. He could win some if he gets him self together and stop being so passive.
Del Potro-1(3-5) - I hope he win every single one during his career. If he is going to be without injury, he could few more slams(except W)
Soderling and Berdych could also grab one. Soda for RG,Berdych W

As I said, for those 5 players everything depends on Nadal's form and after that comes their own form and everything else.

My non-tard guess.

Rafa 10 (5-10) so as high as 20 possibly, FO is a cake-wake for him for the next 5 years. I think he will end around 17
Roger 16 (0-3 max) I think 17
Murray 1
Del Potro 1
Novak 6 to possibly 8

~the rest are not gonna win slams.

Nadal has 2-3 more RGs and this should be it.

I can hardly see him winning any other GS now that he's less confident, the other guys like Tsonga, Berdych, Pony, etc. have risen their level and ofc Djokovic and Muzza will always be around in case he makes some semies somewhere.

Roger has potential for 2 more i think. Wimby this year should be the ultimate GS for him, which if he wins, he might win some more and if he fails - might be his last shot.

Djokovic has at least 5-6 ahead, Pony has a few, Dimitrov should snatch a couple, Raonic will be an interesting one in fast slams.

Federer- 17-18 (Been told he's taking this year light intentionally. If so, may get another, but not much beyond that)
Nadal- 14-18 (May just win another RG, may surpass Federer. Depends on level of competition off clay, more in his hands on clay)
Djokovic- 9-13 (As bad as he has been, I do think he will be back. And who the fuck takes his place? The new generation sucks)
Murray- 2-5 (Back disc surgery can end a career. If not, he'll get another couple Slams, but I don't see Murray an all time great)
del Potro- 1-2 (Might get another, but I rather doubt it. Poor endurance, Gonzo or Soderling could easily be him if Fed had choked)
Tsonga- 0-2 (I can see him getting hot in a weak field. Probably at Wimbledon if Murray is weak, as Djokovic is vulnerable there. Maybe twice even)
Ferrer- 0-1 (If he found his 2012 form for an event with the weaker current level, I think he might could squeak one. Not that likely though)
Berdych- 0 (Not the right attitude)

As for the future
Dimitrov- 0-12 (Could be great, could be a nobody. No idea. He has so much potential but is rather mentally weak)
Janowicz- 2-9 (Mentally stronger, better fighter than Dimitrov but fewer natural gifts and injury prone. Can't see him not getting a Wimbledon or US Open)
Raonic 0-3 (Meh. He'd need a weak event to win it and for his serve to be on fire. But it could happen, and I'd say will maybe once)
Tomic 0-3 (Probably zero, but could pull it together and get a few)
Berankis 0-1 (He's a longshot. Maybe a 10 or 25% chance of pulling one off)

As long as Nadal, Djokovic and Murray are around , which should be for a good few years yet, he has no chance. By the time those guys have severely declined I'm sure there will finally be some good players coming through. Even if there is not I still don't see Raonic getting anywhere near a slam title. His game is not suited to winning 7 consecutive BO5 matches over two weeks.
