You, don't say it was expected, you said he wins in easy two.

Anyway Grigor is such mental giant. Sad loss for him, really. :bigcry:

But I'm proud of Bellucci, I didn't think that he wins this match in second set. :yeah:

When Grigor went from *3-6 down in second set tiebreak to get to *7-6, you would have thought he would take the match. Give credit to Bellucci for taking this win from the brink of defeat. A disappointing loss for the phenom, though. Still hasn't found a way to translate his great challenger success to consistent ATP level success but he still needs some time.

I said he will win Two games.
He got 14. What a legend.

this is not a suprise, not by any stretch.

grigor is just not mentally tough enough for this level of play, he lost from a winning position in that 2nd set and then collapsed in the 3rd set.

Yet another Dimitrov moment:bowdown:
Strategic and deceiving tank before capturing Wimby from the future GOAT

Another(expected)loss. :(

You certainly didn't expect him to lose.

Will surely be a great match. I predict Dimitrov to win this in 2.

If you've seen Dimtrov's match against Simon in Queens 2 years ago...if he serves well, Bellucci has no chance.

Agree on the 8 games part. But 2011 Wimby champ? :) hope only kidding

Will people stop expecting Dimitrov to happen already? He's average get over it.

Snowwy

Del Potro was average for a long time too before he won four tournaments in four weeks.

misty1

with the difference being that del po will go on to be great and grigor will probably always be average

Check out Del Potro in 2007 and the first half of 2008, you know when he was the same age as Dimitrov is now. ;)

oh, come on Snowwy, you are wrong in that comparison. Del Potro may have not been that strong back in 2007 but he was winning matches at TMS and GS tournaments. How many matches have Grigor won at those events so far?

Grigor is a totally different player in comparison to Del Potro and the bottom line is, he's a kid and people are ridiculous in their expectations of him.

Dima does not have the will to win, if things go wrong he just gives in, i watch the match from hotel, if he had win first set it would have been different.
He is good or thinks he is funny on twitter with many following, has made alot of money, is one of the marat group members, who win davis cup, all these russian players have the shots, serve game but did not produce ..
Dima was over along time ago, should have retired along time ago.

Comparing Del Pony to Dimitrov :haha:. You could see the Pony was going to be a great player but with Dimitrov it is all hype. His game is attractive and good to watch but as for winning big events, forget it. I can see him turning into a Gasquet. Good to watch but never winning anything of substance.

Del Potro wasn't good in first years on ATP tour, but back then he was only 17-18 years. Who knows, maybe Dimitrov just need 1-2 years. He need to stay calm and relax
