Gotta fancy Fed. Hopefully Raonic's back is 100% and it will be very interesting to see how he does here.

Roger really, can't see anything too serious bothering him in the draw if he serves well.

If Haase finds his serve, he wins :rocker2:

Roger has a tough draw by Halle standards, but if he carries his level at R.G. on to the grass, he should win this without losing a set.

I went with Raonic. Hewitt has too much to lose and I think he beats Roger in the first round. If Hewitt loses this then he falls outside the top 140.

Berdych's draw looks really good, however he'll play crap and mug it up.

Never played before. This is hope for awesomeness and slight fanboy hype at work.

And by never I mean that Raonic has never played a match on grass at any professional level-World Tour, Challengers, or Futures

Federer/Mayer v Raonic/Petzschner will be the final. Berdych will not make the finals.

I don't think Raonic will be that great on grass, but he's good two easy rounds on paper. Picasso v Milos IMO will decide who wins the bottom half. Also I expect Zverev to beat Troicki.

The top half, expect surprises as well. Brown could beat Mayer, I think Serra will beat Monfils, Lu could have a good run here, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Kohli give Roger a run for his money should they meet in the QF.

Newport is never going to be much fun for Raonic, the bounce is way too low. Halle seems to have some bounce this year, perhaps cos of the heat, and of course said heat is going to really help his serve.

I went with Raonic. Hewitt has too much to lose and I think he beats Roger in the first round. If Hewitt loses this then he falls outside the top 140.

I'd love to see Hewitt pull it out of the bag, but three months without a match, four months without a win, it's a mammoth task! Anything other than Roger in straights would happily surprise me.

I think you've adequately accounted for why Hewitt has zero chance.

It's not a slam, so Fed will play half-assed this tournament. It will still be enough to win.

i think petzch now has a shot if he's playing well, i think he's the favorite to get out of that bottom half now

on the other hand it would be cool to see lleyton come out of nowhere and win it again

im not sure why everyone thinks raonic will be such a beast on grass

Petzschner v Kohli final.

that would be awsome!

but while petzch has a very good chance of reaching the final kohli is in questionable form, granted that he does benefit from roger's withdrawal so his path is slightly easier

I think if Kohli gets by Dolgo, then he will make the finals, because that to me is the most dangerous match for him on the top half.

Hewitt to repeat his title here. You hear it here first.

Seriously though, it might actually happen. He can still play very well on grass.

He had such a bad draw but when Federer withdrawed I thought he's got a good chance of defending his title.

He's still not there where he was in last year's final but getting better. He didn't play since his foot surgery and this might be the perfect comeback for the 30-year-old.

He's definitely got a good chance, but he's not the prohibitive favourite yet.
