Finally, Prostejov is here. One of the biggest challenger events of the season, with 125 points to the victor. Who do you think wins this year? Jan Hajek has won this event 3 times, and I hope he can take it again. Robredo is coming back from his injury as well, GL to him.

If he takes it seriously and is healthy, Robredo should storm through

What? Robredo can play finally? :woohoo: :woohoo: It is the really good news. :bounce:

Hopefully he is back strong. If he isn't win this I'll go with Rosol. He was good at Roland Garros and he plays in his home.

heh wth is a player like Youzhny doing at a challenger? can't he let these lower ranked players get some $$$? they need it. Can't be fun for a guy like Semjan ranked 236 to draw a player that was top10 just months ago . Robredo is ok i guess coming back from injury but I have no idea what the russian is doing there.

Youzhny is in some challenger shape right now, he won't win this, there are hotter player than him in.

Semjan eats some of own medicine because even with decent already ranking he kept nailing these poor dudes in the African futures

Youzhny probably came here for match wins, and probably got a decent financial deal in the process. He's struggling. Playing a challenger he's guessing will regain him confidence. I don't see him winning many matches here, though.

Robredo has an easy draw and is the favorite here if he's fit.

It happens every year, with this challenger and the one during the second week of Wimbledon. Top players who lost in the first week of the Slam will come and play.

Volandri if he plays very well can give lot of job for a medium Youzhny. (I'm not talking with Youzhny's best, it is clear doesn't need. I don't think he would play it at Challenger, if he couldn't at Grand Slam.)

Youzhny, Gimeno and Mikey-Jan are all coming up Monday so it's going to be an exciting day of tennis! The RG schedule outside of the Monfils-Ferrer match can't touch this.
