Honestly: Do players have a look at their draw?

I know that every player is claiming to play match after match and never look at the draw... bla bla bla :D

What else could they say? It would be painful to talk about a quarterfinal and then losing your first match.

But do they look at the draw?

It could cause some pressure....

Fabio Fognini seems to be in impresse form: 2 easy matches and a great chance for a first Grand Slam quarterfinal.

I am pretty sure he is aware of that and looking forward to the next matches :D

Certainly the top guys look in first place what seeds they have in their section of the draw and also if they have someone like Isner or Karlovic.:)

Yeh, I think that they would definitely take a good look.

Of course. And coaches definitely do otherwise so they can scout some future matchups and inform the player.

But looking at the draw isn't the same thing as looking ahead in the draw. Even top players take one match one game at a time. Would be retarded not to. Ask Berdych. Even a 100+ ranked can make the match of his life

He did it! I knew he had this chance and he took it! 5 match points saved in R4 :D

It must be tough to be the highest seed left in early stages, knewing this is a great chance and you still have so many matches ahead of you. Just like Azarenka on the women's side. Top 3 went out early, she never reached a Grand-Slam semi before and now everybody's expecting her to win or at least reach the final. So much pressure just because of that...

No, they are kept in the dark and only know their opponent when they enter the court, gladiator-style.
