Who will be on Philippe Chatrier on Friday?

Which two R3 matches do you think will be scheduled to be on center court (Philippe Chatrier) on Friday? We have some good candidates:

David Ferrer ESP (7) v Sergiy Stakhovsky UKR (31)

Gael Monfils FRA (9) v Steve Darcis BEL

Stanislas Wawrinka SUI (14) v Jo-Wilfried Tsonga FRA (17)

Roger Federer SUI (3) v Janko Tipsarevic SRB (29)

Richard Gasquet FRA (13) v Thomaz Bellucci BRA (23)

Novak Djokovic SRB (2) v Juan Martin Del Potro ARG (25)

I think Djokovic/Del Potro is a must. Federer would be a good second option, since it would be bad and odd to put him out of Philippe Chatrier for two matches in a row. But the organizers usually love to put a French there, and they have three good options in Monfils, Tsonga (with Wawrinka) and Gasquet (with Bellucci).

What do you think? :wavey:

It will be the Gasquet v Bellucci because they have not had this french guy on Chartrier yet.

And there is no way a good tournament organizer will not have Nole v Delpo. Two Grand Slam champs and a most anticipated match, going at it.

I would guess:

Philippe Chatrier:
Stanislas Wawrinka SUI (14) v Jo-Wilfried Tsonga FRA (17)
Novak Djokovic SRB (2) v Juan Martin Del Potro ARG (25)

Suzanne Lenglen:
Roger Federer SUI (3) v Janko Tipsarevic SRB (29)
Richard Gasquet FRA (13) v Thomaz Bellucci BRA (23)

Court 1:
David Ferrer ESP (7) v Sergiy Stakhovsky UKR (31)
Gael Monfils FRA (9) v Steve Darcis BEL

I'm gonna laugh if they put Clownfils on center court just because he's the highest Frenchman. And against a qualifier too.

Federer will be back on PC, then a toss between Djokovic/DelPo and Gasquet/Bellucci and I lean more on Gasquet and Bellucci. :p

Nole vs. DP is a blockbuster and by far the most interesting match. Therefore I expect they will play on PC.

Nice idea but having 4 men`s matches on one court will never work without a night session. It`s too risky that the last match will not finish in one day

I think two out of Stan-Tsonga, Nole-Delpo and Fed-Tipsy. Slight feeling that Nole-Delpo will be bumped despite the fact that it's obviously the biggest match, but really it could be any of them.

It was time a decade ago for Roland Garros to get a night session. The French Open has become a joke slam instead.

No he hasn't, which is why I think he might be the one to go. I don't know how it is elsewhere but certainly on my TV channels it wouldn't be an issue if Nole-Delpo was on SL if that's what the broadcasters wanted to show instead of whatever was on PC.

I don't like the scheduling, put the frenchies where they belong and let them play on a filled Lenglen/Court 1 instead.

1. How do you put Stosur over Schiavone on PC, especially when the latter is facing a seeded opponent?
2. They put Bartoli over the world number one? I Hate pushniacki and love watching Görges play, but that is insane.
3. Tsonga should never see a center court over Federer, no matter the country.

And today they had the gems of Murray-Bolelli/Chardy-Simon over Nadal-Andujar.

As I mentioned before the Djokovic vs. Del Potro match should be a blockbuster so I'm not surprised they will be playing on PC. I don't see what the big deal is that Federer is playing on Lenglen.

I don`t like it at all at how they scheduled the matches on center court. It`s ok which two men`s matches are played there but certainly not the order of play.Djokovic/Del Potro should have been third match on court and after that they could put the court to sleep with a women`s match. It could be a late evening with this schedule.

Since they move the top players around between PC and SL it would be nice if there was a way for your ticket to be good in either stadium. Not sure how that would work, but I think if you have Ashe tickets they get you in to any other court on the grounds.
