Excellent win for Rosol in an entertaining match. No moonballing, both were having a go.

Rosol broke for the match.

Rosol wins his first grand slam match against a local wild card. :yeah:

Nice effort from Rosol, I thought he would immitate Berdych after he was up 4-2 in the final set and blew a matchpoint.

He's probably gonna be in Top 100 soon but that won't save Czech tennis from its current pathetic state.

I´ve seen many people complaining about Rosol being a bad player but I actually liked his game in this match:confused: Or he just had a good day? I saw him for the first time.

Too bad for Edouard:hug:

Flyboy will go on about how Rosol is shit. He had an early break in the 5th, then Roger-Vasselin got it back. The poor guy plays a lot of close matches, but can't get over the line.

right, for someone who enjoyed the moonballing of borg and vilas in the past, moonballing sucks these days......

how can you expose your true self this badly all the time?

No random, out-of-the-blue run for ERV at RG this year

Is Rosol the new Radek Stepanek

He has nothing in common with him  Except his nationality and profession

I noticed a few similarities:

- muggish face ;)
- double-handed backhand
- rather flat forehand

Stepanek was in Rosol's age when won his first match in Paris.

Well I don't expect Rosol to even enter Top 80, Stepanek is much more skilled player and was already top 50 when he had his first win at RG.
