No other options are allowed. Rafa 2010 vs Nole 2011

I don´t think Rafa was dominating in 2010, he won 3 GS yes, but he wasn´t dominating, only during clay season, i think Djoker already is much more dominating than Rafa was last year.

Most of true tennis fans would prefer Federer - no question here;) But among these two I am all-in for Djoko. I hated him so passionately lately but I as a fan of tennis I cannot not enjoy what he's doing on tour right now:) This is domination to me.

Federer dominated in 2004 as well.

Although according to Start da Game the players could barely hold a racket in those false days of domination.

Why? Were they so heavy that particular year?

Nadal's because most of Nadal's opponents have been injuries more so than fellow players LOL.

Goes to show you how tough this guy is.

I prefer more the Noletards 11 domination.

Sure, the Rafatards had major stars who made royal donkeys of themselves, nobody could seriously be too cocky because of 2009.

The 2011 Noletards are taking tardism to a new level of religious fervor. A bit like Harold Camping’s followers who quit their jobs because the Rapture was gonna happen two days ago on May 21st. He's not gonna lose, unbeaten all season, 2012 Golden Slam, proto-GOATness... Expect very little restraint should Djokovic win RG this year.

Nadal is virtually 100% more entertaining to watch than Djokovic (minus his pre-point activities, if you know what I mean), so of course Nadal. Djokovic not only is boring to watch in-game, but is obnoxious when he wins. he's a tool and although I still like djokovic because i think he still is a funny and relatively good guy, he does not have the excitement and class that Nadal has. 2010 and 2011 were both way to predictable as far as victories but at least you could stay awake during some of the matches in 2010.....

How someone can find Nadal's game entertaining is beyond me. I cry tears of joy every time I see his loopy forehand cut short by a powerful, flat stroke a la Denko, Nole, or Soderling.

Should have thrown in Federer 2006 for a better poll but it's also a bad poll to make during the Djoko-streak. Right now he might even keep rolling and win RG and then who knows? Would be retarded not to vote for him?!

whether you enjoy his style of play or not is up to you, but certainly Nadal is a little more exciting in his variation and his energy- he's very spirited when he plays, he's a fighter, and maybe both of them are, but clearly Nadal is well known for his intense and testa]osterone driven playy... Nadal has been moonballing of late a lot, but in 2010 he actually was hitting the ball flat a surprising amount of the time. it's his personality and fighting spirit that i think makes him more fun to watch, but to each their own. Although Djokovic plays and acts like a Robot except for when he finally wins, at which point he gets overly excited... i don't see what is fun in watching that, and i think it would be a lie if it's assumed that most tennis fans have particularly enjoyed watching tennis this year, the matches just have lacked excitement. don't recall feeling this way in 2010, but I like Nadal's playing style so maybe that is my problem

Rafa is reigning champion of 3 grand slam tournamentos, no?

He kinda dominated tennis for a little bit, if I recall correctly.

Yeah but my point is that this domination is running. For all we know RIGHT NOW when the voting takes place Djokovic could go the entire 2011 undefeated, no?

Therefore i called this thread premature and that Djokovic might as well complete the grandslam over the year. That is how it is? We truly don't know if this Djokovic domination gets even better before it's over. Hope that clears up the confusion.

So you find it "exciting" when Nadal leaps into the air pumping his fist after his opponent's unforced error?

There's no accounting for taste.

The people who actually enjoy the game of tennis, they don't need childish antics and screams of VAMOS from a player to find his game exciting. Actually, this kind of thinking ONLY applies to Nadalfans - who btw are mostly girls who like his looks or boys in their midteens... or Americans.
The player with most fans in the world is still Roger Federer, and he isn't vocal at all, neither does he show a lot of feelings on the court. But his playing style is still attractive.

Also, Djokovic a robot? That's hilarious stuff, even by MTF standards. Novak's technique is without a clear weakness and he moves without really wasting any movement, but when it comes to theatrics (which seems to be the sole reason you watch tennis), he's almost as big a show-off as Nadal.

MTF likes to create these stupid myths. Someone once said in a thread that Nole's style is robotic and now all the tards are repeating it like a mantra. Sheep behaviour.

I prefer Nadal, but I guess for silly reasons. I'm a big fan of Nadal and I would prefer he held the #1 ranking for a while longer. While I'm a Djokovic fan too, I feel like I'm not ready to see Nadal back at the #2 ranking.

Appears to me that Nole wins this one hands down. Eventually those four last matches between these two great champions has somewhat adjusted general opinion in Nole's favour. Rightfully so, eh?;)
