Marcos looked focused, inspired, energetic, and focused. His play was at times patchy, but looked like he was on the court and not a complete shadow. He took the initiative in the match throughout and served well today, also moved well. A good performance all things considering.
Fred played a weak match and looks nothing like the player who made the Monte Carlo QF.

God bless Marco and all the best to him in the French. I want to get behind him so bad and get excited but I have been let down so many times in the past. He is just so injury prone. Played so well at the Aussie and then had to retire.
I hope he can at least stay healthy and if he loses he goes down fighting.
Pame Marco!!

I love Baghdatis, but I hate Fathdatis.
Let's see who shows up against a good opponent.

The story of this match it's about the first set. Fred had so many chances to go up 5-2 and kill the set. He lost too many opurtunities. Even had a 4-2 in TB. Eventually he lost the set and he just give up mentally in the last 2 sets. Congrats to Marcos. He was the better player and deserved the win...
