The combination of Fed having never played his opponent and Fed taking it easy means a score of something like 6-4,6-3,6-4

I think the scoreline will be something similar to this, unless Teixeira becomes a little too overawed at the occasion and makes a whole host of errors in his service games.

Tough to vote what will happen in this match as i have no clue who this guy is,never seen him play.Does he have a big serve, good groundstrokes or anything that could make the scoreline decent?
Certainly Federer will win it but it`s tough to see how this match will be played against a complete unknown player not only for Federer but for the regular spectator as well

Whoever this guy is, he's won a round at a slam, so he should give Shankerer quite a test.

If Teixeira plays the match of his life, then he can win about 10-12 games.

Expect OfficeFed to make an appearance in this one.

Straight sets, 3's and 4's.

Should be an easy one, but I wouldn't underestimate this Tex-something, unknown opponents are very tricky, especially in the first two sets.

Pretty sure Berdych thought the same thing about his Frenchie qualifier today... :bolt:

 - Fed in straights. Pulllleeezze.

off course we all know winner but usually when all expect tight federers victory he delivers some -9.5 hend against some top player like wawrinka and when we expect fedex to roll on some mug it usually goes 7-5,6-3,6-4

iriraz
05-23-2011, 09:39 PM
This match in a way is like last year`s match against Reister.Playing an unknown player at first can be tricky as Federer doesn`t know what to expect so it could be a blowout if Teixeira doesn`t get into the match at all,or a bit tight at start and easy from the second set on.

teixera to win 6-3, 6-2, 6-1

olderer is toast.

Probably in the 5-8 range. Teixeira lacks the weapons to hurt Roger and Roger should dismantle him if he plays well.

I think he rose from 700 in the ranking to 190 in about a year. Not so bad.

Teixeira is a solid player, he could trouble Federer more than what most of you think. I say Federer in 4 or 5 sets.

Sad to see how far fed has fallen when his fake fans think this joke could be of any sought of challenge. fed in 3 6-2 6-3 6-1. Depressing to see what planet federer has come to...

Depressing to see what certain Bandwagonners (yes, this means YOU, too) still expect from the guy, after 12384612304612034612364 kms of mileage and some 10 years on top of the ATP rankings. :o

Some of us posters have heard of his opponent, though.
Even more, of his glorious ability to *f*ck *k* up against players he's never before played against. :D

Teixeira was ranked 711 a year ago and is now ranked 181. Not doing too bad for his age (turned 22 in January).

If Tex wins it would be the biggest upset in this decade or even history of tennis.

Tex to take out the trash in 3 routine sets.

Federer goes to a baseball stadium, thinking he's playing a baseball player, resulting in a W.O win for Texeire
