:help:
Falla almost lost to Reischick in the qualies being down 1-4* 0-30 in the decider and now he gets in the MD and "feeds" Starace with double breadstick who's been playing pretty well in the last period

Starace doesn't belong in the top 50.

Starace has a terrible record in Grand Slams.

Friend was at the match. Falla toyed with him with angles and dropshots.

I'm not surprised Falla won, but this scoreline is amazing. 6-1 6-1 final two sets. When Falla decides to turn up and put together a good performance, he's got a lot of talent and really can do a lot of things with the ball. He also didn't get broken in the match, which is a great feat. These balls and the court speed really suit Falla's game. Congrats to him on this victory.

Haha not really expected but Starace isn't a friend of the slams plus can get upset easily, Falla plays nice tennis, good to see him through.

philosofcarf told me there was a strange odd movement, it was probably the biggest fix ever.

Uhm? Odds were about 1.22 - 4.00, I don't think this has been a fix.. every person on this planet should learn that when it comes to Italian tennis players you have to expect results like this in every single match they play ;)

GS type of a player this Falla. He just hibernates in-between.

Starace has had back problems for some time. He withdrew from Nice, and would have withdrawn from Rome if it wasn't his "home" tournament. Still I had expected him to do more.
