Great fight Ryan. :D

He plays Marti in QR3, another 19-year-old.

Very good for tennis. Go Ryan. It was another heroic fight, more than 2:30 hours. I expect him to make it to the main draw.

Nice. Guy has a ton of heart and knows when to buckle down and get serious. Wasn't broken in the match. Would be a great accomplishment to qualify.

Very good win. The match against Marti is very winnable too. An American qualifying for Roland Garros is pretty rare, so this would be great for his confidence. He's got a good career ahead of him and he's started it pretty well.

If he makes it to the main draw, and then win that 1st round ( not much chance) then he finds himself in top 100.

He'll get there in the grass month.

Good to see an American with the right attitude.

This kid has so much heart that it is difficult to not appreciate it. Although it might not seem like much, an American actually wanting to qualify on clay and that likes to battle is an extremely rare phenomenon nowadays as snowwy alluded to. If Harrison had 1/10th of the athletic talent of Tomic or Young (granted he has 100X the maturity of those two put together) he would be seeded at RG already at his early age I truly believe. Good luck to Ryan in the final round!

Always important to hold a loss over a player's head that he took when he was 17 years old. Bloomers is a nice guy and it was great to see him have one nice week a year ago, but I'm not sure how applicable that match is to Harrison's overall career prospects...
