Never in doubt, in his last match Dimitrov got bagelled by Bloemke.. even if I didn't expect a retirement but a 0-2 defeat.

from the tourney website:

Hungarian :o talent, Grigor Dimitrov, was forced to retire in his first round match versus Spaniard Pablo Andujar. Due to illness, Dimitrov was forced to give up while being down 5-0.
In the second round, Andujar will play the winner of Baghdatis-Benneteau.

Really hope this guy will reach top 20 in the future but it seems more and more uncertain. At his age, Roger was 13.

apparently grigor was pretty sick and probably should not have even played

this loss would be bad if there was no excuse but there is so there is no need to say anything bad about him

LMAO, only 11 ATP level match wins for the next big thing at age 20?!

He's lucky Bulgaria don't play in the World Group in the Davis Cup, otherwise he wouldn't even have reached double figures in ATP match wins yet.

EDIT: Why the fark have I got some random smilies in the main 'batch' rather than the standard ones?:facepalm::cheerleader::superlol:

once again HE WAS SICK

no need to criticise him because of this and his every loss shouldnt be an excuse to blast him

When will dimitrov's fans accept that he is a random young player? Not the next big thing (even if he is the youngest top 100)

maybe he wont be anywhere near as good as though, i accept that but i also dont think its fair to constantly bash him, he honestly doesnt deserve it.

Dimitrov's fans are just normal fans to a young boy and i've see nothing wrong with that. If you put a couple of proven bandwagooners and trolls in your ignore list you would see no hype at all

Do we need to explain this every time he lose a match?

So, ok, he is a random player, no need to bash him everytime he lose...and especially when sick

I'm still would be proud if he would be Hungarian anyway. :D
