After a successful stint on the futures tour in the last half of 2010 and the early part of this year Adam made the step up to the Challenger level in Ostrava this week and has been doing great. He qualified for the main draw and then took out Lukas Dlouhy 64 64 and then defeated the sixth seed Karol Beck 63 61. Uladzimir Ignatik is his Quarter Finals opponent.

:woohoo: Adam beats Uladzimir Ignatik 26 76(8) 63. Things looked a bit shaky in the second set when he squandered a couple of set points in the tiebreaker but great to see him get through in the end. Next up is David Guez.

Lost in the final to Robert 61 63. Will be interesting to see how he backs up in Prague where he faces Bogomolov in the first round. 31 wins for only 4 losses in 2011 so far.

Great run!

Anyone knows his playing style and strengths/weaknesses?

I watched him just one time... he has nice shots (specially FH and BH), he plays aggressive but he hit lot of UEs and I have to say... he has some interesting idea on court... I mean he don't really know when must go to net or not. :p
I can't say more, one match is too little.

I hope you understand. ;) :p

Disappointing result in Cremona with a 6-3 6-3 loss to the lucky loser Alexander Sadecky.
