What will be the score for the Davis Cup final?

5-0 to Spain, that is if they play both reverse singles.

Spain 4-1, with the Bryans winning the doubles, though I can imagine the great reception Roddick will get from the Spanish crowd and tangerine will be whining about it.

i dont even think the doubles is a shoe in 4 the bryans. shud b a whitewash.

At best the Americans can hope for is to lose 3-1, but I think it will be 5-0.

I am just having the big expectations of thrashings on the 1st day of the singles, though I am not that confident that Robredo should play on the 1st day of singles, not that should be a factor.

I'll go with 3-1 Espana. The Bryan bros. are good on clay, having won Roland Garros, and Nadal and Tommy don't play often together. Otherwise, Roddick can't even beat Mutis on clay, he isn't going to beat any of the Spaniards.

Fish is hideous on clay (even worse than Roddick), the Bryans have won the French Open dbls title, thats why people are saying 4-1 to Spain. They Bryans are USA's only chance to win a match.

but unfortunately towards th end of this year moya and ferrero are not in great form so if guys like nadal and robredo it might be even closer.

....If I knew Ferrero was as we know him, I wouldnt have had doubt he'll win both his singles,even if he was playing God....unfortunately and sadly he's been far from great and I'm kinda concerned for his matches....not sure how moya is.....but anyway, somehow I don't feel it will be that easy for the spaniards, it's just a bad feeling. I'm hoping for the US to win 3-2. This would be accomplished by Andy winning his first match, then the Bryans winning, and then Andy winning again. I think he'll be really pumped for this match.

Well I think everyone would agree that the Bryans have a fair enough shot at winning - they like clay, they play their best in Davis Cup, and they are a much more accomplished team than Nadal/Robredo - and that includes clay results (RG champions, etc.). And, though *highly* unlikely, stranger things have happened than Andy winning one of his matches.

It will more than likely be 3-1 with the last match not being played.

P-Mac has got to play Spadea to have a shot at this. If he does, there's an outside chance that Vince and Andy could each win one match, and I think the Bryans have a very good chance at winning their doubles.

I think these are good predictions. I still think the Moya/Roddick match will be a toss-up.

Moya will likely win both of his singles rubber, with spadea carrying the hope on clay, for one singles rubber..I even think Spain will get the doubles rubber as well, which will make it 3-1, not bothering the dead rubber

I think 5-0, i love all the spanish tennis players, and i have faith in all of them and I think Nadal and Robredo have what it takes to win. I just hope moya doesn't choke, but even if he does he should still win.

Good idea... and what many of us wanted.. but Mardy's officially gonna play. And PMac might really regret it. Then again, it might not really matter at all. Vinny may be better on clay and may have had a better 2004 but it's not like he's known for his ability to step up in big match situations any more than Mardy is.

all expect the bryans to win, but come on, its tommy/rafi on clay! it's the daily form which will decide. will be a cool doubles match. anyhow, in the end it'll be 2 all and the deciding match. cant really say. but: vamos los españolos!

Moya's matches with Andy in the past have been so close; DC would be the perfect place for Carlos to finally break away and get one over on Andy.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking... but Spadea is in Spain with the team, but he is most likely not going to play. PMac has said over and over that he plans to play Mardy unless something really crazy happened this week in practice (like Vinny absolutely kicking Mardy's ass repeatedly or something). I think it's too bad but really when you think about it... Vinny is not known for playing big matches any better than Mardy. And it's not like he's won a clay title or anything to demonstrate that he's THAT much better on clay than Mardy (although I think he probably is) and he has losing records against most of the Spaniards even on non-clay surfaces... so.... yeah. I really think it doesn't matter who PMac picks, whether it's Vinny or Mardy, b/c they're all gonna lose anyway.
