Hi guys! I just found out that we can vote for the Fox Sports Award, and I cannot believe Gastón has so little votes!!! He won Roland Garros!!!
Anyway, I thought you'd like to vote for him, here's the linK ;)

Well, Fox has more rating in Chile so it's obvious the chileans will receive the award. Plus, this event will take place in Florida, USA. I don't see Gaston going there to acept him in person. =O/

I think Coria won it last year and wasn't there either...

I think Gaston deserves the Olympia this year but also there's Paola who could win it. I personally deslike Fox Sports. In all their news shows they always make horrible comments about Gaston and his attitude in matches. And they were the ones starting the rumour that GG wrote that letter to the ATT and he had the idea about it. I know awards are good but Fox now worships GG cause he won a slam and before that, they were killing him.

Paola is nominated for best female player, so both of them can win ;)

Melu, there are a lot of people like this one moment they hate Gaston, then the next minute they love him. It doesn't matter he is appreciated by his real fans.

It happens to every player, no one should pay attention to the press. It recently happened to David too. He was called an "embarassement" by the press when he couldn't play in the Olympics and a couple of weeks later the same people said that he was a hero by winning two matches in one day while still trying to leave his injuries behind in Beijing...

That's true jazz, the press have to sell papers, but there is nothing wrong with criticism as long as it's deserved.

Absolutly. But it would be nice if the people that criticise them know something about tennis and not just about football for a change...

You can't help having 40 million coaches in Argentina.

It looks like we might need a forum umpire here as well and I have the perfect candidate.

Are there problems here? Who do you have in mind?

GWH and the 1001 thread has been wrecked or is in the process.

I think is a great choice!
I've been reading the posts here and they're harmless, at least for now, even though I understand what you're saying ;)

At least the Coria fans have the respect to stay away and vice-versa.

Obviously we don't want a total bunch of yes people but it could be moved to the Chat section and it would keep people on their toes.

I understan what you mean.

How did it happen in the David forum? Because I think the idea is a good one.

The mod thing?
Gravity had the idea, and proposed it to Amanda. I didn't think it was for real but a couple of months later she asked me if I wanted to be in charge of David's and the Spanish Forums...
Maybe you could pm her and ask her about it.

Cool I just did that and mentioned that Rosie had been told that she needed brain surgery as someone who isn't entirely trustworthy.

There is a level, then there is over the line and that is.

No, FB, my telling her to kiss my ass was way over the top, according to mods.

Well I made my points clear and I have to finish work now, and see that she has posted in the 1001 thread again.

Maybe I need to post a message in the chat thread.
