I've been to 3/4. The Australian Open is the toughest to get to, but I'd like to get there within the next 10 years. I don't have flights booked yet or anything, but.. it's realistic :)

I've watched all 4 on television.

Only been to the US Open. Should be heading to Indian Wells again this year. Isn't that like the "5th Slam" or something?

I thought they said that about Miami instead...

I haven't but I would certainly like to and hopefully I'll have the opportunity to

Ha, well that depends on who you ask. But ya, that is what is said about Miami. However, I thought I heard that IW draws the most fans outside of the 4 slams of any other event, including Miami.

Anyway, Miami sucks. Hot and humid. Much prefer the desert. It's only hot there.

miami i think...

i went to each in 2009... gotta say, AO is a real day out in more ways than one... you're just entertained from top to bottom... sideshows to the tennis that just seem to make the main event seem more a spectacle... wimbledon n rg have that special club atmosphere which you can never replicate so would be disappointing if they moved rg elsewhere... us open was a bit of a simple site for tennis with great access and decent ticket availability by and large... w/ no roof there's nothing too special doin there in this day n age... the heat in australia burns... w/ no sunscreen my aussie skin can stand out in euro sun for hours no burn, but... 20 minutes of aussie sun and you can feel your skin cook and begin to blister... physically the aussie must be the most physically taxing which adds a gruelling dimension to it + scheduling has a solid role to play re: night matches...

Have to say, AO certainly looks fun. My tennis partner went to AO a few years ago. Said he had a blast.

I actually prefer Indian Wells to the US Open. I like the atmosphere better and like how everything is just easier. The US Open was sort of a pain in the ass for various reasons I thought.

Indian Wells is pretty relaxed. And I agree about it compared to Miami, I'm not a humidity fan, and while it can get hot in Palm Springs, it's manageable.

Never been to a Slam, but of the 4 I'd like to get to the AO the most, maybe in 2013. I'd like to take at least three weeks off, get to Sydney ( and attend the tournament there ) and then get to Melbourne to watch some matches in the first week of the AO.

Only FO, which is the slam i like the least, by far. But just didnt feel like travelling to another continent and you can only get into Wimbledon if you're related to the queen or stand in line for 800 hours.

1/4 but I'm going to go to RG this year, plan on going to the US Open by 2013 and the Aussie by the end of the decade at the latest.

Been to the Aussie and US. I like the grounds at the US, but overall the AO is tops. Have collected those big souvenir tennis balls from those two Slams and my goal is to eventually have all four :D

1/4- Wimbledon 2006 (watched Federer vs Nadal)- albeit on Henman Hill or Murray Mound (whatever it is called these days)

Would love to go Aus Open (sometime in the next 5 years), and French Open (within next 5-10 years whilst Rafa is still dominating).

Don't really give a toss about US Open, my least favourite slam with their poor scheduling and facilities...I'd rather go Indian Wells or Miami.
