Didn't see either this or Feds match yesterday, but the scorelines sure don't look impressive. He must be far off WTF-mode.

As some pointed out in the livescoring thread, Fed's ROS was AWOL for parts of the match, but it was still an entertaining encounter. This should be an interesting match coming up with the Serb. Ultimately though, Federer came through today when it mattered and I feel it will be much the same way against Troicki.

Chiudinelli definitely made a good account of himself out there today, but must be kicking himself for not having been able to force another tiebreaker when he was up 4-1 in the second set.

Fed in total relax mode.

this

if he plays even like 50% of this, Troicki mug has a chance tomorrow... especially if he serves like he did today... but on the other hand, Victor is one big choker against Top players, I wouldn't be surprised if he wastes a couple of MP's against Rojer... of course if he reaches that goal...

Not a good sign from the maestro. Close-long match. Chiudinelli led 5-3 serving for the first set in a tie break then failed completely.

Hope that Fed can make the final here this week. Didn't seem good though from the scoreboard.

I guess he's where you'd expect him to be, considering he's playing in the early rounds of a ATP 250.

Fed in exhibition mode.

Fed playing utter crap, his backhand is exposed outdoors. Chiudinelli almost lost to a nobody wildcard yesterday.

Dont know what happened after 3-1 lead by Chiudinelli, streaming went mad. Then it already 4-4. Blowing up the lead twice must hurt him big time:devil:

As mentioned before, If Federer continues this exho form he can easily loose tomorrow against Troicki. On the other hand, there's always a huge possibility that Victor finds a way to choke and gifts the big points to Roger.

Rubbish match.

Fed looked like he didn't want to be there and Chuidinelli was injured and choking whenever he had a chance.

He's taking this like an exho, his attitude is completely different from the one at the WTF

Just as expected - Fed was never going to try ripping his good friend to pieces, of course not. This match was of no significance in terms of Federer's shape, not at all.

Looked rather bored did RF.

Only watched a bit, result was not in doubt but there was some sloppyness in Rogers play.

Horrible. It felt as if Roger didn't care and would rather have been some place else. Maybe playing against a childhood friend got to him a little I don't know. I'm sure he'll up the ante against Troicki. It can't get any worse than this. What rubbish attitude from Rogi

Was this even exhibition mode? Seemed more like "screwing around on the weekend with a buddy" mode. Regardless, he wins, ha!

Roger looked so unhappy.... no smile or anything at the end when he wom  I think he really felt bad for Marco -- they're friends for like 20 years. I hope that's all it was and nothing else is wrong. Chiudi played pretty well -- he hits the ball really hard and can serve okay -- but he's always injured. I saw him lose in qualies in Toronto... won the first set then started limping and lost the next two.

Strange attitude from Fed even though they are friends, Roger even looked like he was going to tank that second set.

A win is a win, nothing really important to note here, needs to step it up for Troiki though.

One service game was like 40 seconds  Fed in exo mode, but a win is a win. Has no bearing on AO anyway.

Federer is by far the favorite for AO. Muzza is probably next, then Faker, Nadull are next with Denko, Soda, Duck bringing up the rear as possible title contenders. I have no idea why there's a 1,000 post thread, since that right there is all you need to know about the AO
