Sorry, maybe a stupid question, but I've read it a few times already and wondered what it is:

What does not signed players mean?

I hope at least 1 or 2 of the German players can not start in Heilbronn, because they are still playing in Australia :)

Kavcic, Muller and Mahut OUT, that degrades the tournament a lot. Don't understand why either, they have still 4 four days left till the tournament starts and they were planning to go to Europe anyway. Are they still in doubles at the AO?

The official website lists Peter Gojowczyk as WC, while a new article says that Florian Mayer and Andrey Golubev get wildcards and one wildcard is still available. That would mean that not one of the guys Kante mentioned has got a wildcard so far.

What a dashingly dreadful mental whimp Kravchuk is!!!
Got 2 set points on Germans serve in the 1st set, broke for 2-1 lead in the 2nd set immediatly was broken back, than had 0-40, wasted it, than AGAIN had 0-40 on the serve of obscure Beck and after squandering this advantage got peacefully broken for the match.

Gremelmayr got owned in less than an hour by a guy he's never lost to in 3 matches just a complete tank there, i think berrer could have a few problems though playing a qualifier who's won 3 matches berrer not exactly play well so far this year.

Janowicz has no inclination to get forward at the right times. Pretty poor for a giant to have no net-game, especially on these fast indoor courts.

Why are French players reckoned to be the most volatile and unsustainable on the ATP tour?
All these Kohlschreibers, Kamkes, Raisters.......bunch of very gifted and IMMENSLY mentally fragile poofs....Kamke is such a joy to contemplate - all these powerful deep penetrating ground strokes, but when something goes wrong (just one or two shots!!!), he deteriorates dreadfully, instead of cruising in brief 2 sets he has swithed his mind off being 1 point away from 4-0 lead and than.....just been agonysing for 2 hours till eventual loss.......and all that against someone like serving mediocrety Bozoljac.....such a pity.

tumbak
01-27-2011, 08:29 PM
I don't get it, Bozoljac is an all-serve s**t who gets from time to time a shot or two in and yet Kamke is ending up embarrassed like that. Can't stand them both, but still lost my money. German fag.

total joke this match was kamke was 3-0 40-15 for a double break and he ends up losing the set 6-4 not to mention he was 3-1 up then 4-2 up.

some people might say it was a different court on a different day with different conditions but the facts are the facts but in auckland against david ferrer a top 10 player and one of the best returners out there took about 2 hours to break the kamke serve and today he lost serve 4 times against such a dreadful returner like bozoljac.

Kamke could be excused if he had come straight from australia to here but he had 1 match yesterday and given he is now top 100 he should be beating this crazy in the head all serve mug comfortably no question about it.

I think that will change today bozoljac just reminds me of dustin brown cant really play tennis just serves then plays really aggressive on return games and breaks just by being aggressive im thinking bozoljac will win 2-0 today.

We'll see. I think Bastian has no reason to play worse than previous matches. He was very stable. In case of Bozoljac, he played well only against Niland yesterday, first to matches his stats especially on serve was terrible (10 or more double faults per match).

I think Bastian was all 1st set better player, when was ball in-play, but Bozoljac always helped himself with his serve in the right moment. Then Bozoljac hit two lucky, but nice returns and broke Bastian's serve. Knittel had 2bp in next game (on *5:4), but didn't take it.

Of course, terrible result for Bastian, but tennis is like that. Bozoljac won 0 of 9 2nd serves and only on the break point he finally took 1 of 10. I think if German one is morally strong, he still have big chances to win. Just concentrate on important points.

I can not believe how Knittel managed to win this tournament against all odds, defeating ATP level players like Golubev, Andreas Beck or Brands on his way to the title.

For those who dont remember, this is the guy who not further than 6 months ago lost against Jurgen Melzer's brother, Gerald, lost against a portugese player called Joao Sousa 6-0 6-1, and won an epic mugfest in Todi Challenger vs James Lemke, in which his serve got broken 9 times!!!

i agree its incredible, who knows where bastian got this form from, at least it proves he is a capable player, was abit lucky vs bozo, bozo should of converted the mp.

for brands well, its really poor , beating berrer and galung in straights and not being able to take atleast a set off bastian is dissapointing.
