Soderling Vs Berdych : Who Has The Best Potential Going Forward?

they are both comparable in so many ways. both are tall and lanky and both have brutal, easy power off the ground. both are clueless at the net but they both do have big returns and big serves.

and for big men, their movement is relatively adequate.

and now the big question: who has the best potential going forward? and are they capable of snatching a slam one day? or will they be slamless forever?

can either of them get any higher than #4?

Berdych is in no way clueless at the net, not that it's needed nowadays anyway. Should actually use it far more often, has more than decent hands.

Tomas has even more natural talent IMO, but for both them the key issue is consistency and finding a way to get through even when they are not feeling it. Soderling is pretty much there already, Berdych has indicated it. Both are capable of wining a slam if they are hot enough for two weeks. No crystal ball to say whether that would actually happen.
