Random question-

Comcast cable charges me $6 extra a month for the Tennis Channel. So far, I don't find it to be worth 6 cents, but perhaps I am missing something.

Before I cancel it, is there any reason why I should reconsider and keep it. Any input would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance. :hatoff:

Whatever you did to help yourself feel better, that is all that's important. You are too beautiful, too kind, too smart, and way too special to put up with ANYONE who doesn't reflect that back to you. If they don't know enough to treat you like platinum without being told, they are not fit to carry your Fendi bag. :)
Goddess you are so right, i do admit i have more thinking to do on this situation, i'm just glad i didn't go off the deepend.

*Ok How sad is it that i have NO Fendi:sad::hysteric:...oh how i long for a metallic Fendi minidress, with cutouts:angel::drool:*

It wouldn't really pay off for a few months. You just get more hours of atp tennis which still isn't much. Depends on how much you want to see some obscure tournaments and old clips of the guys on the TV shows.

Personally I do just fine without it when I'm at home.

You will have it. It will just take longer. Anything worth having always does...and the cream always rises to the top. You are building an empire- won't happen overnight, but it WILL happen. :)

I was thinking as much, thank you Sof. It has been a real let down so far. There are live tourneys going on, and they replay Murphy goes to Melbourne for the 345873087th time. :help:

The station gets better every single year. Right now it doesn't have the money to put cameras and people out at all the tournaments. In I'd say three or four years it will really be worth it.

It's good with tournaments because of all the coverage, but for the US open you'll get most of it on a few different stations in the US.

So for say masters events it's good and for something like RG.

Think about it this way. Men pay money for stations that only show football games or hockey games that already happened, years ago. I don't think they realize that as far as sports go tennis might have the biggest female fan base. We want live tennis if it's on, and access to old matches for purchace.

That always kills me. They won't let vids on youtube, but they aren't doing anything with them to gain profit. Do they have any idea how much money they could make by selling DVDs of those matches. :o

Hellooooooooo de Villiers, anyone? Anyone listening? Free advice bitches, free brilliant advice here. :wavey:

It's been mentioned. ATP won't do it because they have to buy the matches or something like that. I don't know the inner workings, I don't really care that much. Like for a tape of the RG final, the RG people would have to sell it or the ATP would have to buy it to sell it.

God forbid you spend a little money to make a lot of money.

I will keep it. I like the fact that I can write there. I don't really get it yet, but it seems like a safe place for me right now. I have control over my old myspace, but I am leaving it blank for at least the rest of the year. I am tired of going back in, readding everyone, readding the codes, only to have the psycho jerkoff delete it all.

And no Novak. A young star that they should be pimping the hell out of.

Yay! It's so much easier to use IMO, except lately they've been adding all these retarded applications. Every day it's a new thing: would you like to add a Graffiti wall? How bout Movie Share? Superpoke? iLike? Honesty box? Top Friends?

I was weird about posting the full face shot on here because that was taken around the Teenie Attack of 06. You have no idea how horrible dealing with that shit was. And it was from all directions. I know it's easier to find people on face book because it's smaller and all the different search tools.

But you can't see anything about people on Facebook unless they're your friend. You have to go to the same college to see their profile, or be accepted as a friend. Otherwise they just see your profile pic and name, that's all.

Yes, I am happy to be at this job. A job working for WTT would be a better one. Running the ATP would be a better one yet. Being a part of Clear Channel would be the best of all of them. :)

Political Science. Wow. Sounds fun. What can you do with that. I don't even know what it is. The study of politics I'm guessing.

California was one of my choices for moving. I was thinking of sending applications for my psychology internship to hospitals, colleges, and jails in the Austin and Boston areas. Though California still looks like it could happen. I wouldn't know what area though. Big state.

Oh it's a blast. I love reading hundreds of pages a night. Fune really. But it doesn't require math, that's all that matters. It is the study of politics, your powers of deduction amaze me ;)

I'm taking a class on Supreme Court politics next semester, and one on classical political theory.

No offense to the LA people, but I dislike LA. Big deciding factor in choosing schools for me, because otherwise I'd have gone to Pomona. I love the San Francisco area.

Yes and that show acutally has real models, not girls wanting to to model.

Though I still like the whole next top models shows. Mmm drama and crazy photo shoots I'm all for the drama.

But Petra she's hardcore. She's adorable and picked herself up after the Tsunami which none of that could have been easy for her.

Usually this means I'm deficient in something - exercise, something nutritional, stimulation...

I think today I need to get out of the house for a bit. I work from home and at times I can spend too much time in front of a computer surrounded by the same walls, and it can get a bit too much.

I'm going to go out and have a walk, stretch my legs a bit and give myself something different to look at, and try and stay away from the computer for a little while.

I find group sex quite difficult to write - you want to describe it in good enough detail but meanwhile you don't want to just abandon a couple of your people for a bit while you flesh out what's happening (pun definitely intended)

Exactly and with this kind of threesome it's all he and his. It's a fine line with the names of the people and those words. I normally throw in the nationalities to make it work. It is so easy to get lots in who is doing what.

I haven't been able to keep up with everything in this thread....sorry. :(

Sofyaxo
08-03-2007, 12:37 AM
People do stuff like that.

It could display some kind of crisis though. Not in like the panic kind of way, but in the need for change kind of way. I'd talk to said boy about it. It could reflect a few different mental states. Opposite ones even. Like a positive cutting out the clutter and nonsense state, a depressed state, or even some kind of need for extreme change.

But no it's not completely normal when people overhaul their daily lives. Talk is needed.

And I need to be a brat for a second.

Hiya Superstars! :wavey:

Oh man, what a day.

Procedure went fine. I have painkillers and bandages and all of that. Got the initial shots around the area to numb it, then he did the tattoo, which felt like a pressure and a vibration. Wee bit painful, but not too bad.

Problem came in when dumbfuck me asked him if I could look, once it was over. Since he's a SURGEON, he's not bothered by the sight of blood- he says, yes, of course, you are all done.

So I look......    :help:

It's not pretty. I will not elaborate, but I was not prepared for what it looks like. Yikes. And so, I start to get woozy, and sweaty and cold all at the same time.

He says- Kel, you don't look so hot. You okay?

Nope, not really.

And out I went. My blood pressure was 72 over 43 at one point, and my pulse was 44. :help:

They gave me chocolate and raspberry trail mix and covered me with icepacks, which perked me up good as new. Now I just feel like a steamroller ran over my chest.

Hope you all had a good afternoon/evening.

EDIT: I forgot the best part- I have a medical note, from my doctor who said that I am unable to work this weekend, for fear of disrupting the area he worked on. Know what that means? NO NUGENT!!! :woohoo:

EDIT: As for relationships, I don't know anything. I have never sustained a long term one with a man before. All I can say is that if the return on your effort is worth the cost, then all should be well in your world. :)

I think that is what it is coming down to...I'm not sure there has been much of a return lately. I need to find out why.

Red Bull, Rockstar, Jolt- all that stuff is dangerous. I was always ill and crashing before I gave it up. Never occurred to me that is was the caffeine that was making my loopy.

I have raw cacao on a daily basis, and none of that happens. It's pure, without the processed chemicals. Makes me feel awesome, not shaky.

Reg, I am sorry your back went out, I hope you are better today.

I woke up with no pain (crossing fingers) so all seems good. I had to replace the dressings though, THAT wasn't pretty. I hope the will fade quickly- how the hell would you explain it to someone you were hanging out with?!

Sofyaxo
08-03-2007, 03:26 PM
I know guys Roger looks really good there. I had to have a moment with that picture last night. :)

Reg are you feeling any better? Did you rest, ice, get the kinks worked out,and all of that crap. That's really funny though I normally have no issues with dialogue it normally flows out really well. It's all the in between that I have to really thing about and completely rework a million times. Let me just say though that if you force it out it's not going to be right or feel right. Just get rid of everything that doesn't have that feel and leave it alone. Don't think about it, or do the mini movie in your head with it.

And I did sleep. Four hours. Now I feel like ass. I hate that feeling. You've slept, but not enough to feel right. Grr.

The first thing I thought when I could think other then mmmm pretty was I wonder what he's thing.

Most likely that what he's doing is the most boring thing ever and what he'd rather be doing.

Ohhhhh they are talking about my bridge phobia on CNN. :haha:

edit: I'm fine Kells, I just needed to soak it, and get the knots massaged out. I've been really stressed lately, and it grabs my muscles like a pissed off pitbull. :awww:

Stress hate Reggie

That's what's going to happen.

I can't really talk about college more I went years younger then everyone else. Totally different ball game.

 sounds pretty good to me :D

How old where you in 1st grade?
A word to the wise, though - it's a very exciting time that should be explored and embraced - but not blindly. Along with the 'C' word - choices, comes another 'C' word - consequences. As long as you're prepared to deal with all the consequences of your choices, you'll have a blast.
 When it comes to being responsible and stuff like that I can be pretty mature about it...something happened a year ago that made me open my eyes and act in such a way as to never regret what I've done, or hurt my parents in any way :)

EDIT: Sof, agreed. I am done with it. It shall not be addressed or mentioned again. It's beyond not worth anything. :)

I have to admit Roger looks good in that photo. In my opinion though he is not pensive. He has the look of someone who either has completely blanked out and is staring at nothing or is watching TV (if he is watching The Age of Love then the above 2 possibilities are pretty much one and the same).
