That sucks dude, you need to tell them to go shove it next time they try to rope you in. Ok so that might not be the best career move, but still.

I like the tummy.

Though like I said in a lot of other places and here. I think he's gotten kind of lazy. He'll get hurt soon is he isn't careful. His work on his fitness has completely dropped off. This is what he needs the full time coach for.

08-13-2007, 12:22 AM
oh yeah, totally - if he weren't my fave player I wouldn't care if he did have a bit of a tummy. I'd stroke it and rest my head on it like a pillow - that's the thing with six-packs, it's like lying on a lumpy mattress. A bit of a belly is much more comfy

This is why I love the chub roll that Andy has and I love Roger's little, but growing tummy. Guys who are hard as rocks (all over not in the one good area) are not good for cuddling. I'm a cuddle whore, the little bit of fat is an important thing.

Though for tennis and Roger it's not so good. He needs a foot up his ass right now. Hopefully he can end the year at number one and get points back next year. He is getting lazy and not working as hard as he used to. The whole intimidation factor is wearing thin. He has to work now against guys like Nole just like he as to against Rafa.

scoobs

Agreed - and you're right, it is starting to wear awful thin.

Right now just over best of 3 sets but it will start to happen in slams too unless he works hard to keep ahead of the chasing pack.

I'm not ready for it to end quite yet....

I'm thinking his motivation for some of these events has declined and mentally he seems to get up for the slams now much more than anything else. He's won Canada, he's won Indian Wells, he's won Miami - I'm not sure it's really hurting him too much anymore when he loses at these events.

Ah Borg. Personally I'm getting tired of players today getting comparisons to players of the past. Can't these guys, (Roger especially) stand on their own two feet?

Okay this is getting too sad for me. I'll imagine that if Roger were to end up like Borg he'll be found in a closet with Andy Roddick, Rafael Nadal, and Novak.

Hiya Beautifuls! All recovered from the action @ Toronto this weekend?

So has Ms. Kelli gone off and fallen in love or something?:aplot::devil:

This is apparently the question on the mind of many. ;)

The answer to it is a resounding NO. To settle the debate here and anywhere else, HE broke up with ME in 2003. When someone cans me like so much tuna, I do not revisit, no matter what Eternity necklace they buy me, or how many tomato plants they plant in my back yard. (He did that, btw, because he said the organic tomatoes I get from Whole Foods still aren't up to par.) :p

REG! :wavey:

Does that mean you will not be going to the USO this year? What a bummer.

I still have ringing in my ears from Friday. Last night was much better. Hootie and the Blowfish STILL sells out after all these years. It was a pretty decent set up- my room kind of reminded me of the one @ the Drake here in Chicago.

Whirlpools can be fun. :aplot:

Weather was a wee bit sketchy- I am not a fan of the blistering heat/humidity combo.

People were VERY nice. I got to hang out w/ the big boss @ HOB. (He's from LA, and is EVERYBODY'S boss.) He was there in Mrytle Beach, checking up on everyone. Jim Jablonski, or "Jabbo" for short. Me, forever being the opportunist, never taking a minute to be off the clock........he has my card and contact info. ;)

CHRIS! :wavey: :smooch:

You okay from yesterday's match? I thought of you when I heard about the result. I was not sure how you felt about it....I saw the replay. Seemed to be a rather listless performance from Feder-bear. No disrespect to Nole, of course- I really like that kid. :)

No lusty pursuits. Work, work, work, and more work.

It's all paying off though- my friend Katy is coming to see me on the 30th, from California. Has some news about World Team Tennis. :yeah:

I had to promise her that we'd hang out and actually do something fun.

Thank goodness I get two weeks- I get my lips done on Wednesday, so that's plenty of healing time. She called me a human jigsaw puzzle. You'd think that living in California, she'd understand the appeal of having a FLUFFER'S lips.

I'm fine - I felt strangely ambivalent about the result - maybe it's no bad thing Federer loses the odd one here or there to Djokovic - as long as he wins the ones that matter most.

Makes tennis more interesting with three in the mix.

I think what I need to do is write a bestselling novel that makes me famous and filthy rich, then I can travel the world watching tennis and see all my friends.

I would like to pre-order a couple hundred of these, please. :inlove:

Wouldn't be a bad set up- have a trust fund, wear fabulous clothes, jet around. I hope it happens for you. I'll meet you along the way, then. ;)

I wasn't sure what to make about what happened during the final. I saw a bucket of UE's, but not a real sense of urgency about winning from him. I suppose a year is always measured by majors, and he already has two, a final, and is a fairly good bet for the USO this year.

I have an idea for a story. I don't know how good it would be or how interesting - not sexual, or if there is sex it's incidental. I'm going to try to write it anyway if I can.

On the match, I would have liked to see more urgency, more oomph from him and less UEs - it was the worst match he played all week I thought.

But Djokovic deserved the win in the end. There's been too many performances like this from Rogar this year, though. I realise he couldn't maintain a win loss record of only 4 or 5 defeats in a year but even so, there's being outplayed and there's losing matches you really should have won.

Well, every wedding I've been in, I've had to pay for my dress. I suppose if the family is really well off, they'd pay for it, but that hasn't been my case.

I think the skirt/top ensemble works. I tried it on and it looks better on....IMO. I won't be tying the sash in a bow...I don't do bows, It will be a square knot, or wrapped and tied kinda like a kimono.

They're probably closeted, like half the homophobes out there. :ras:
I remember they did a very homoerotic photoshoot right at the start which, predictably, got everyone's attention as it was intended to do. But when everyone assumed they were gay, started hitting on them and asked them if they wanted to do gay porn together, they then claimed they'd been pressured into that photoshoot and they weren't happy about what they were asked to do and felt violated etc.

I don't know what the truth of the matter is but my suspicion is they knew exactly what they were doing. That's when I lost interest.
