Why do some posters here at MTF call David "Pics"?

I have recently started to see this being done at MTF, but I have no idea why :shrug: Can someone help me out?

I also took it for granted that the nickname meant that he is gorgeous in pics so why not call him pics. Was never so motivated to find out why. :)
