I'd be happy if Bautista changed place with Martí. Instead Martí ended up with playing Davy! ugh..

Davy and Verdasco are always in the same section of the draw lately :spit:
But none of them "wins" this section (see Beijing, Shanghai).
Good chance for Kohlschreiber (if he's fit) or Simon to reach the semis here.

Javier Marti vs. Nikolay Davydenko

Let's see what this kid is made of :wavey:

You know.. I'm a fan of Martí, but even I am not expecting much.. He hasn't even won a challenger match yet, though he was close a couple of times. A much better draw for him would be if he changed places with Bautista-Agut. Monaco is a more winnable match than Davy, even though he probably wouldn't stand a chance against him either.

Yes, the kid is good, and yes, he deserves the praise he's getting.. But I do think an ATP match is a bit premature for him.. He should try to win a few more futures at the beginning of next year then move up to challengers when he gets his ranking high enough, then maybe he's ready for ATP matches in 2012.
