I don't think Serena faked it, Gulzhan. She was really in pain. I would have preferred Daniela to win though too :awww:

gulzhan

I know she was in pain, I saw her leg  All I am saying the time out was outrageously exsessive in violation of the rules and it is unfair to Hantuchova. Plus, I am sure Serena had only cramps, nothing like a strain, otehrwise she would not be able to play as she did....

whoever saw her demanding the toilet time out 3 games after the rain break, would agree that she is an arrogant person who thinks she is entitled to anything she needs, regardless of rights of the other players

i just asked SW, why he thinks she is better than Henin? as to trainers and diagnoses, what did you expect, SW? US said Serena had strain, Britain answered-- yes, sir!

The diagnosis by actual medical professionals was that the cramps caused a strain. :)

Simple logic. When you cramp, you drink water. When you drink a lot of water, you feel like going to the toilet. :)

She doesn't retire from Grand Slam finals or cheat, although I've given up on trying to convinced biased people who cannot see past their hatred. :) Yeah, sure. It's a conspiracy. The Wimbledon trainers are all pro-US. :haha: :tape:

No grounds about what I say about Henin? RG 2003? AO 2006? :tape: And the reason I dislike Sharapova is not really gamesmanship. :)

Sorry to say this, but you're looking really silly. If even players like Hantuchova and Kuznetsova believe she was injured, who are you to say she wasn't? And could you explain why she would fake an injury when she went from 2-5 to 5-5 and had the momentum? :retard:

He must be physically and mentally very tired. As it is, the transition from grass to clay is very tough. To make to it worse, he has so few days to adjust. RRH will get a lot of balls back and it will be really frustrating for him...

Yeah. If he weren't the defending champion, I think he would have pulled out.

I don't think it has anything to do with tennis. The USTA are trying to help. I mean, US immigrations are a bit paranoid sometimes from the stories I've heard. :cuckoo:

You'll win. Serena pulled out and Meilen Tu replaced her. :o

apparently, it's not the first time tarpi's had troubles with the US immigration, due to his "background of links with the mafia" or so they said in some article. anyway, he's got his visa now.they finally approved it in the middle of the night

Hello does anyone here know of a good place to learn tennis (group or one on one) in Singapore? Quite affordable too? My friend suggested Kallang. I feel kind of weird...cos like I'm 14 and the beginner classes usually consist of lower Primary kids. I really want to learn tennis though. Where do you guys suggest?

PennyThePenguin
07-12-2007, 02:23 PM
kallang  where the practise courts and stuff are. or sometimes, you can look at the classified section of the newspapers, because people advertise in there. or I think some condominiums with tennis courts actually have tennis instructors teaching the residents there. OR, if your school has tennis as a CCA, not for like competitive purposes, try joining :D that's how I learnt tennis though I still suck at it :p

Why not join the SPEX group? It's for anyone below 18 years old and they train either at Kallang or Yio Chu Kang

as a person who was denied a visa, i can tell you-- the immigration services abuse their power for mere humiliation of people! my friend who works in US State Department told me that all the officers in the consulates are losers :tape: it's not top job at embassy, for evil women with failed personal lives :o  no one can tell tarpi is a potential illegal alien :haha: so why all this circus?

paranoid  lame excuse.. they are arrogant and unprofessional

only once before i had a problem with visa, US, i was sitting in line, hearing all the nonsense the consul asked, all the offensive and humiliating questions, and naturally i was angry and did not hyde it :ras: when it was my turn she told me she won't grant me visa cause i had no right to enter US for 3 years after study on the US State Dept grant :haha: i told her she was wrong, as a lawyer i knew the regs, i could not get a permanent residency visa but business visa was more than logical cause the purpose of US grants was to teach and train specialists for themselves  anyway, i said her i was happy she denied me a visa and i'll report to the World Bank whose project I needed to work on in DC... my friend from USAID called me next day and asked to come to pick up the visa, i was very tempted to refuse ;) i spoke perfect english and certainly was not related to mafia unless she could classify the World Bankl as mafia :tape:  where is paranoia here? pure and clear arrogance! they simply like playing gods, not rare

well, i was sure about snape and i just wish harry had more time with him to talk before he died, and i was picturing snape saving harry and telling him about his love to lily  the looking into harry's eyes were very touching though...

i did not like the story on dumbledore :o not at all... did not like her making his family so tragic and did not like him being fascinated by an evil friend  and i did not like dumbledore having this elder wound :o he was a great magician, no need of superpower i think....

The Snape storyline was quite predictable to me but it was satisfying to read all the same.

I think it gives his character more dimensions. A perfect character is a bit boring.

I actually wasn't that surprised that Harry didn't die. After it was revealed that he was a horcrux, it felt like JKR kept harping on about the inevitability of his death so I kind of expected there to be a twist.

BTW, Alex (Bubba08) has entered the Mister MTF contest. Since he's the only Gasquetaire there, we're trying to help get the other Gasquetaires and other Frenchies to vote for him. Voting hasn't started yet but when it does, could you ask the group of them on MSN to vote (like you did with PYW)? :p

gulzhan
07-30-2007, 03:23 PM

There will be two finalists from Europe, I think, so maybe you can vote for two people. But if not, Genci has the whole of Nathii's thread voting for him, so... :o

I think you won't be disappointed when you see his picture. ;)

she is a baby, 11 y.o. only.... :secret: and she is not that good... but she was on tour and they had lots of fun, she also has a short video of her going into central court with the noise of cheering crowd  who knows, it could add a little to her ambitions....

silverwhite
07-31-2007, 05:27 PM
I'd rather be in France and not watch Montréal. :p

Yeah, she beat Clijsters in the final if I'm not wrong. ;)

Richard will probably drop out of the top 10 after the tournament. :o

I didn't see but they talked about it on GM. You can visit if you're not afraid. :bolt:

gulzhan
07-31-2007, 05:36 PM

i don't like to go to the new sites, i am not a big inet user, but i'd like to know what people say :o what is it? i heard anna's dad was mad when he was asked about why this guy attends her matches
