Nice list, week before the ATP Bangkok event, so I'm sure many of these guys will also be headed there. Good luck to my favorites, but especially Peter, surprised he decided to play on hard court in Asia over the clay in S.A.

No, some distance between them (the second is in the northern suburb of Bangkok). For more details you have to contact our user jirobkk (http://www.menstennisforums.com/member.php?u=257) from Thailand :)

I think it's on the same venue because the OOP for that tournament is out and it features the final between Grigor Dimitrov and Kravchuk and all the qualifying matches!!!

It could be also as a variant that only qualifying matches are on the same venue and then main draw will be on new courts... In fact, I don't know exactly. It's needed to ask local peoples :)

So, we see Tursunov and Rieschick (why not SE?) in QD!

I think WC have been given to Tursunov, 2 Thai players and 1 Indian guy. Don't know their names. I am also not certain of this because I read it in another post. Just thought I would share the information. :)

I think that was last week's Bangkok challenger, where Tursunov and Bhambri (the Indian guy) got WCs. It can't be for this week because both Tursunov and Bhambri are in the qualifying draw...

Well it will be quite hard for him to play the PPT Thailand Open because he is 90th alternative and he will need a WC to get in so I think he better play as well as he can the second challenger and miss the ATP tournament and prepare for Mons challenger.

Well, PTT Thailand Open already gave out all the WCs, so I guess his best hope is to do well here and get an SE. I hope he doesn't tank just so he can go through qualies; I'd rather see him do continue to do well in challengers than struggle through ATP qualies.

If Soeda makes the QF, he's going to be in the top 100 for the first time next week.

Good win for Mikey, seems like he's feeling better. Also impressive results for Ebden, and Udomchoke.

Why Tomic had to play here? Some warm-up before Kuala Lumpur? I hope Grigor to advance to win again. It'll add another 80pts and take him to 130:eek:. He needs about 160pts to be in top 100.

Lineup is destroyed, but it still isn't that bad.

With Mello coming from playing two tough matches in India, and Russell coming off illness, I wonder if they can give their best in this event.

Too bad about Dodig retiring but another victory for Grigor. Winning again will be difficult but we'll see.

This should be a prime opportunity for Soeda to go deep here.

As I expected, Mello struggling physically after the Davis Cup. Good for Thiago to come through. Gremelmayr on hard should be another good opportunity for a win.

Good tough victory, Mikey, hope he goes far.

Another very impressive result for Grigor, Rieschick has been playing very well, but I back him against anyone with the way he's been playing.

Soeda v Udomchoke should be a nice match to watch, if Soeda wins he'll clinch a top 100 position next week. But hopefully Danai wins in the home country.

Mikey lost to Kurdyavtsev, too bad. But I didn't expect much this week. Hopefully he can have some good ATP results now, going forward. Hopefully Alex beats Gremelmayr in the SF.

Congrats to Grigor winning again. What an amazing run of form he is on! If he wins this event, top 100 finish to the season is a real possibility. Go will be tough in the SF, though.

Rooting for Grigor now to take this event!

Amazing, Grigor! He's really on a roll now. His hot streak doesn't seem like it's ever going to end. Back-to-back victories over Soeda, impressive. Hopefully he can take the final too, now.

Good win for Kudryavtsev over Gremelmayr, close fight. He's a really good player when his head is on straight. But he's going to be at a disadvantage after playing his long match.

Also, congrats to the Twins on the doubles victory!

He's really on a roll, on a high in his game, and he's brimming with confidence. And, he knows how the play in finals and win them, which shows he is mentally put together well, and has good composure, which is definitely helped by the great coaching he has. Just amazing, so happy for him, everyone knew he had the talent, now it is finally blossoming, and blossoming quickly.

Amazing winning streak for Grigor :worship:. Definitely he was needing to build up his confidence and that strategy of his coaching team to take him to play back on Future tournaments (and fortunately for him to win there) and particularly winning in Geneve were the key to take him where he is right now.

He always had the tennis and his confidence is as his peak. Just a shame that Bangkok ATP organization didn`t him a WC to play next week after winning the two previous Challenger tournaments (WC for Marc Lopez  )

However, considering how things were like some months ago and this present situation everything that has been happening is more than positive for Grigor. He is jumping really fast on the rankings and will see what happens till the end of the year. All the best for him :)
