Expected result, but unexpected collapse. Don was 7-5 3-*3 30-30 and won 1 more game. Blown opportunity here, but congrats to JIC for continuing his career resurgence and good form. Hopefully Don gets a kind draw in New York.

How mean of Chela to actually make donna think she had a chance to win.

I'm so glad Chela has won!! I had the opportunity of seeing him live and he's such a good player. I hope he totally develops his skills quickly and gains a better position in the ranking!!

US OPEN 2010

So, according to Hugh Jaas, BOTH Daniel Brands AND Donald Young will win US Open 2010...?

Sounds like nothing more than a mental collapse.

He'll get it together.

Young is gross. and the future of US tennis too.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Yep, Chela was just teasing.

Don : Yeah, come on. I'm gonna take this.
Chela : sure, sure. get on with it.

....
....

Don : I'm close.
Chela : huahahaha... time's up kid. let me show you the harsh truth.

...
...

Chela : Here kid, take this bagel and crawl back under your bed. huahahaha....

Oh yes, what a nice win and a bagel for a finish

Nice to see past his prime, 30 years old JIC, still being able to gring it out against much younger opponents.

i dont know but he nearly did the same thing against gulbis a week ago
after he lost the first tight set he fell behind to 1-5 before mounting somewhat of a comeback

could be seeing somewhat of a pattern developing here with him. I dont want to say he gives up but..after losing tight sets where he has chances he gets destroyed in the next one.
