No problem on MTF, most days you just pronounce M-U-G-S, except after given matches, when you bellow G-O-A-T, with the more refined adding the adjective candidate just to show how nuanced they are.

BTW, Nadal is usually pronounced MUNBALER around here.

We're famous for our higly developed use of language and variety of synonims.

This Belgian guy is probably from the French speaking part of Belgium, he is not pronouncing it correct (Vliegen and Flipkens are not flawless too). And I think he even pronounces Henin incorrect. Wick as in wicked is correct.

Right.

Sorry but I don't know how his surname should be written phonetically in English :o I think I've already written a couple times on MTF that this is freaking difficult surname even in Poland. Some Polish people hearing this surname would write it with 3 errors "Pszysienrzny" instead of "Przysiężny" :o

Marcel Granollers, Marcel is a Catalan name (the Spanish equivalent is Marcelo, like Ríos) and should be pronounced "MarSSEL" and not "MarTHEL" like the non-Catalan speaking Spanish journalist does. The ll should also be different.

Are you really hoping to tell them the difference between the 'll' in 'cuello' and the one in 'coll'? It would be fun to see you try, jeje, maybe a Welshman could get it but I doubt anyone else!

That can't be the right pronunciation, can it? I thought he was trying to appeal to the gay audience a bit or something, but he kept doing it over and over so maybe that is how you're supposed to say it.

Why wouldn't Wickmayer be pronounced with like "vickmayer". I thought Dutch and Flemish pronounced the W like the letter V in English. Also I think it should be Vozniacki not Wozniacki, right?
