Andreev d. Clément 7:6 (7:2), 6:3

There is victory!:bounce:
In the first set, Igor filed on set when the score was 6:5, were setballs, but was unable to complete the set. Had to play the tie-break. And there account * 3:2 Igor picked up four points in a row
In the second set, Igor did break with the score 4:3. When serving for the match had to play break-point, and after Igor put an end to this meeting. :bigclap:

Well done Igor!
Good luck in the next match!

Yes, Igor fell out of Top-100:sad:
But apart from the semi-final in New Haven, Igor nothing to defend. So if everything is in order then we can score points and be in the black, and the rise in the rankings. :worship:

Igor regained strength and health as quickly as possible and come back, come back to win!

i know it didnt work out that well when he tried last time but i think he should go play some challengers, go into the ones with weak fields and get some points that way

Unfortunately i agree with the challengers idea, it could do him good. It's so sad to see him down there though, that is not where he deserves to be. Can only wish him the best of luck.

he definately deserves to be so much higher than he is and is alot better than a challenger player but if he could win 1 or 2 it would vault him right back into the 70-80's range and he could go from there

plus it would give him some confidence

Totally agree with you.

He plays fourth match on center court not before 4.30 against Baghdatis. Tough matchup but we can but hope for a miracle.

Good luck to Iggy today! Hope, everything will go well :)

About challengers, I think he won't play it until there'll be no other variants. He obviously doesn't like it. But it would be good for his ranking, so may be
And, as he doesn't have any serious points to defend after New Haven, we can hope for a good progress :)

Well after the break and recovery was difficult to expect that Igor this time to win.
But anyway sorry:sad:

Igor is now ready for US Open!
