Whether it be because of nationality, ranking, career achievements, style, height, rivalry or a combination, I can't help but associate some players with some other players.
Examples include:
Cilic-del Potro (both 6'6" and five days apart in age),
Murray-Djokovic (one week apart in age, career high number two, 5 Masters 1000s, first slam final at US Open),
Ferrer-Robredo (nationality, less than a month apart in age, similar career weight with almost identical prize money),
Isner-Querrey (nationality and similar achievements and time of breakthroughs),
Clement-Schuettler (veterans, out the blue Grand Slam final at the Australian Open, in and out of the top 100 in last 5 years),
Corretja-Moya (nationality, played in Grand Slam final and Masters Cup final),
Hewitt-Ferrero (all the rage at the beginning of the century).
Do you ever associate two (or more) players together, and if so who?
