Time spent on court in Cincy. Federer: 36 minutes Davydenko: 4 hours 30 minutes. Discuss.

Fed is fresh enough to win quickly.

Fed in 3 with a second set lapse  . Davy doesn't look like he has the weight of shot he normally has, but he's consistent enough that he could still give Fed fits

Davy's level is not high enough even to beat Fedmug right now.

Obviously Fed, even if Davy were rested Id stand by that.

Federer is so lucky this tournament.
Most probably is that Davy fell off the stairs tomorrow.

Rafa is pitiful
I have no faith in Nole getting past Roddick
Andy's had two tough three-setter in a row
And Roger's had essentially a bye to semi's.

I voted W/O. No way he doesn't defend his title for his second of the year.

fed will win, i think davy is good enough form to take a set here though

Well Davy plays better tennis when he gets more court time....but he may have gotten a little TOO much court time in just a few days. And Federer would probably beat him even in perfect conditions for him....so Fed in 2.

If Davydenko plays like against Ferrer it would be easy job for Federer but I am expecting raising of level from Davydenko and thought match

Got to love this difficult draw that Federer has had to get to the QF's.
Istomin twists his foot 36 minutes into the match, then Kohli withdraws :o

I'll go with Federer in 3, but hopefully Davydenko surprises me.

Why are you think that Davydenko is difficult draw in this form ? Davydenko is awful at the moment and can't change anything dramatically . Federer only can lose if he plays more than bad

could be the perfect match Davy needs to regain his confidence, he could catch Fed off guard after this unexpected rest and take him by surprise, that said this is Fed's match to lose given the circumstances.

federer will smash davydenko.
after davydenko's trash talking when he was on his 15 seconds of fame, he made enemies out of federer and nadal.

Fed in 2

Only the very best Denko could bother a mediocre even Roger

and now we have a mid/good roger and average Denko

6-3 6-4 Roger

Final should be Fed vs Djokovic again soo.. Fed in 2.

i would think that with the win davy has over ferrer he'll be able to challenge federer a little more now because he should have a little more confidence

i would love davy to pull this off in 3 but i know roger will win in 2 because it takes davy at his very best to beat roger.

Davy was pretty awful his two matches here. It took just about the best form of his career to finally break his Fed-duck, so hard to imagine he has any chance.

Fed should win, but I can imagine Davy taking a set especially if it's a tight one and Fed has a 'moment' like at 5-5 in the 2nd in his match against Berdych.

Davydenko has played more minutes yes, but that could be different than what you are all thinking. Davy needed the long matches to get his rhythm back while fed could be caught cold with no match practise this week yet we know what federer can be like in early rounds of tournaments with no prior match.
