Well Davy plays better tennis when he gets more court time....but he may have gotten a little TOO much court time in just a few days. And Federer would probably beat him even in perfect conditions for him....so Fed in 2.

Why are you think that Davydenko is difficult draw in this form ? Davydenko is awful at the moment and can't change anything dramatically . Federer only can lose if he plays more than bad

could be the perfect match Davy needs to regain his confidence, he could catch Fed off guard after this unexpected rest and take him by surprise, that said this is Fed's match to lose given the circumstances.

i would think that with the win davy has over ferrer he'll be able to challenge federer a little more now because he should have a little more confidence

Davy was pretty awful his two matches here. It took just about the best form of his career to finally break his Fed-duck, so hard to imagine he has any chance.

Fed should win, but I can imagine Davy taking a set especially if it's a tight one and Fed has a 'moment' like at 5-5 in the 2nd in his match against Berdych.

Davy needed the long matches to get his rhythm back while fed could be caught cold with no match practise this week yet we know what federer can be like in early rounds of tournaments with no prior match.
