Arkulari 08-19-2010, 05:22 AM Roger is such a dork when it comes to cameras, Rafa couldn't help himself either It's nice to see them having so much fun off court  neenah 08-19-2010, 05:33 AM :haha: :spit: :worship: dabeast 08-19-2010, 05:39 AM haha nice vid!!Rog sweats more when he does commercials than when he's playing oncourt :D And wow Fed's Spanish sounds almost perfect. Guy's such a multi-linguist. wanted to hear Nadal try out Swiss-German tho. rafa_maniac 08-19-2010, 05:42 AM God Rafa is an atrocious actor  Roger is almost passable. Funny stuff. Tomy 08-19-2010, 05:43 AM Amazing! Serenidad 08-19-2010, 05:48 AM  Not that funny, quite boring actually, but the gloryhunters will be all over this with laughing emotes. Should have had players that actually have charisma and charm like Daniel Brands. Johnny Groove 08-19-2010, 05:53 AM Those two have so much chemistry, it's ridiculous. It's mostly Roger laughing, though. Rafa is trying to get through whatever it is, but Roger keeps giggling like a little school girl  Arkulari 08-19-2010, 05:54 AM Those two have so much chemistry, it's ridiculous. and people wonder why we slash them  BArsonlyone 08-19-2010, 06:02 AM That is the funniest blooper ever!! Looking at that video you wouldnt expect that they are the 2 dominant players of their generation. They look they're just buddies hanging out. Its pretty genuine too, especially from Roger's side. partygirl 08-19-2010, 06:02 AM Again, it is humanity's loss that these two cannot procreate.:( I'm sure they tried:) Johnny Groove 08-19-2010, 06:10 AM and people wonder why we slash them  Again, it is humanity's loss that these two cannot procreate.:( I'm sure they tried:) Not even a full page of posts  At least wait for page 2 for the smut, ladies :p Puschkin 08-19-2010, 06:11 AM I thought it was funny, Roger's outburts of laughter are not really new, but Rafa trying to be serious like a good pupil and then bursting out into laughter himself, is just . MIMIC 08-19-2010, 06:18 AM 14 minutes long? Jesus Roddickominator 08-19-2010, 06:21 AM So much sexual tension between the two. Rafa probably has to think about his video shoot with Shakira and sicken himself to become unaroused every time he is around Roger. Roamed 08-19-2010, 06:21 AM Oh my god  :worship: DuMa 08-19-2010, 07:00 AM really bad clip if they were 2 other ordinary people. but because theyre the top 2 players in the last 10 years. its watchable, sort of. and i really thought roger being an experienced player on the tour and always in front of cameras, he would act a little bit more professional. but i guess laughter can become infectious on the set and you cant control those outbursts. Rafa i can understand because he is still learning the english language. Also i thought roger was proficient in many languages including spanish? ApproachShot 08-19-2010, 07:11 AM Hilarious stuff :worship: I just wish they'd play doubles together some day - they seem to get on so well off court. dombrfc 08-19-2010, 07:27 AM Tooo funny Eden 08-19-2010, 07:32 AM really bad clip if they were 2 other ordinary people. but because theyre the top 2 players in the last 10 years. its watchable, sort of. Which 2 other huge rivals in sport would you imagine to go well so along? It has nothing to do with being in front of the camera. Roger's laugh is really contagious and we have often seen him bursting into laughs in interviews, not to mention that the players and other people who know him say that he is a very funny guy. So I understood it right that there will be a showmatch between Roger and Rafa in Switzerland in December for Roger's foundation? I think I have to travel to Switzerland again then to see this. You probably will never get the chance again to see Roger and Rafa playing against each other in Germany/Switzerland/Austria. Even though this will only be an exho - it's more relaxing for my nerves than a real match between them :p Blackbriar 08-19-2010, 07:58 AM Rodge cant stay serious one minute :p JMG 08-19-2010, 09:01 AM In case you're living under a rock and haven't seen it: :retard: Navratil 08-19-2010, 09:10 AM What a cute couple :D Nolby 08-19-2010, 09:15 AM What a cute couple :D Not quite as cute when they don't realize the cameras are rolling and it doesn't involve some easy promo cash: :p k4ZB0YDh8Rg Just like heaven 08-19-2010, 10:54 AM  Rafa :worship: sabina_RF_lee 08-19-2010, 11:07 AM Rafa is so shy. Nole fan 08-19-2010, 11:32 AM People who don't find this funny or criticise the players are bores... get lost. This is an infectious video, hilarious. I love seeing the players have fun and relax like this. Specially Roger who is so unemotional and cold on court, it's a pleasure to watch him relaxed, giggling like a schoolgirl. They are both so sweet, cute and funny that I think I prefer them off court. When Roger acts like this i can forgive him almost everything. I love his infectious laugh. And rafa is so sweet. Vida 08-19-2010, 09:40 PM No, I meant like what does it have to do with facebook? cause facebook, in a way, represents the latest global trend where people are more and more connecting to each other, it is easier than ever to share information and to have an insight into other peoples lives. so, what was once private has become public, and as a consequence image is important even more and has repercussions into what actually happens. like, in tennis, did pete sampras have a PR agency working for him, as every top player does now? I doubt it. and why did djokovic hire one when he found out his 'in your face' thing isnt working? because, it turns out, you have to be 'correct' to have a chance to compete - and all that is because it is very easy now days to see how people are privately, have an opinion and express it. alright Im stretching it a bit, but I just sense those things are connected. I mean, if fed was some tough guy, with no perosnality of the sort that he has - would he be as successful as he is? I really doubt that. Arkulari 08-19-2010, 10:34 PM come on Vida, his success as one of the most famous athletes (face) in the world might have something to do with Facebook and the media, but his sucess as a tennis player only has to do with his talent and his work ethics  habibko 08-19-2010, 10:35 PM you probably dont realize it but you have actually agreed with me here. you speak of two rogers, and that 'art of taking the game seriously and leaving the clownish act out' would NEVER work in the age where tools for such contradiction in the public eyes didnt exist. thats the 'facebook theory' no I haven't agreed with your stupid theory, you claim that Federer is "acting" as a dork or a girl as you put it and that he far from genuine when he is being this way, when in fact this is very him. when I say he puts a mask I'm talking metaphorically, I don't speak of two Rogers, a personality is something you build and shape as you grow up and it's more complicated than a simple description of a "dork" or a "clown", Federer can be both a ruthless person when playing matches and a dorky person when hanging around with his friends, this doesn't mean he is giggling to manipulate the world for his own interests and trying to explain his success this way, I mean seriously?? you dumb mug who cant see past feds ass. someone is getting touchy? no need to take it personally =) Guy Haines 08-19-2010, 11:10 PM Vida and Habibko you both have some excellent points, actually, even if the argument gets garbled by favoritism. I would have to agree here. That seems to be the real off court Roger. He was giggling partly out of nerves. You and everyone else can't have forgotten the bit in the video where Federer points out the sweat in the stomach area of his tee shirt. The guy was nervous; they were both nervous but Roger seemed more so. He's uncomfortable in front of the cameras when he's not in tennis mode. Still, I wish this could just be an appreciation thread about a hilarious blooper video involving these two tennis giants. It's any bit as good as the Seinfeld blooper reels- even more so because Rog and Raf are not professional entertainers. I was in stitches watching them in stitches. Roamed 08-20-2010, 12:05 AM I would have to agree here. I thought he was probably sweating because of the lights? Good post though :) swebright 08-20-2010, 12:48 AM It's here, but doesn't play entire 14:45, stopped after ~5:56. http://www.gototennisblog.com/2010/08/19/best-tennis-video-ever-federer-and-nadal-hilarity-in-cincinnati/ But, where's the discussion thread for THIS?? How vain and Fed-like of him. But Fed's hair always falls into place, Rafa's will not behave at all...he kept trying & trying and just seemed more perplexed by it. sabina_RF_lee 08-20-2010, 07:34 AM hey, dont call Roger femenine! its not right Tommy fan 08-20-2010, 08:31 AM awesome  Eden 08-20-2010, 11:17 AM To be honest when it went up, I had the feeling that it was going to be removed. No way that they would broadcast the outtakes before the commercial itself. I hope someone had the presence of mind to download it. I don't understand it at all that they decided to delete the clips. It's the best advertisement you can get to have it on youtube. I wonder how many clicks the videos got all together. Eden 08-20-2010, 12:33 PM I love when Rafa tries to fix his hair  Roger should have given him his hat - Roger's hair looks always good :p Can you translate the Spanish parts in the clip please? :) It would be great to know what Rafa has to say there - and Roger when he does the Spanish text. tennis2tennis 08-20-2010, 01:05 PM I don't understand it at all that they decided to delete the clips. At the end of the vid it says it's "strictly confidential, not for broadcast". Presumably they don't want people to know about an exo until the official press release.
