His Oz title (and maybe USO) this year trumps any masters 1000 he's lost and potentially will lose.

It's all about the slams. Masters mean nothing for Roger now. Oh and London 2012 at Wimbledon.

Who cares masters are clown events. Federer used them well last year to gain momentum for the GS but if he doesn't need that there's no reason to win.
