Very good from Novak. He surely cleaned the thread from all those bugs who throwed the hate on him yesterday.

It's funny, the thing that bothers me most about Novak right now is his terrible outfits. He wents from some amazing adidas outfits to this crap :o

Thought Vic would possibly grab a set...a little more convincing for Djokovic

Do not forget that his Adi wear caused Djoko = Smurf.

Good win by Djoko, some amazing groundstrokes yesterday and the audience was high on him. Just keep the boy out of the sun and he shines. :)

So glad they put that match on the Grandstand. The atmosphere was great. Good match and great fun. Djokovic hit some unbelievable groundies!

Impressive of Djokovic, Hanescu is a decent player too.

But I'm wondering.. No breathing issues today? Was he faking yesterday or what?

I don't think so. The match against Hanescu was much later and it was nowhere near as hot as the day before.

I was there for the Bennetau match and I had to leave after the first set because I just couldn't handle the heat anymore. I have no idea how they managed to actually play. And I've never seen both players have that much of a meltdown in perfect sync. Yes, it was just THAT hot.

Around the same time Monfils and de Bakker were struggling with the heat big time, both needing to call for trainer.

So Nole takes care of the favourite Hanescu easily then.. :rolls:

The organizers did him another favour by booking him the evening match again today. Well, I'm sure they know that the semis involving the top four seeds will sell the best..

If that's their thinking Murray is the one they should have protected.

Uhm, it was 26 degrees when Djokovic nearly passed out. I do not consider 26 degrees to be very hot. He should have been able to deal with it, like most players did.

Have you ever heard of humidity? Clearly not, but whatever...

Nole always has the most hilarious draws. Chardy in the QF

Humidity was something like 80% in his first match. I agree though. Some of nole's draws this year have been retarded.

Yeah we all know he choses them.
And I don't think Nadal had it any more difficult, so what?

Surely Murray does much better in the heat than Novak :)
