Yeah, my choice is Chokovic, too. Australian Open: not to face a single Top 50 player (!!! in a slam) till the QF, there he lost against Tsonga Rotterdam: not to face a Top 50 player again till the SF (just a bit lucky not much here) next cakedraw where the FO: just played against one Top 30 player (other players´ ranking: 73, 246, 37, 98) to whom he lost after leading 2-0 Wimbledon: one Top 20 player till the SF, but played Hewitt in R16, but hat almost byes with Montanes and a tired Lu in R32 and QF And now Toronto. NO way is that clown tournament worth 500 points for the winner and 300 to the runner up. Sonja1989 08-13-2010, 12:02 AM Querrey is the luckiest. Edit: I forgot Bagdatis. Thanks Ibracadabra! OH MY GOD, LU! In the top 30, Cilic is very lucky, Nadal and Djokovic quite lucky too Ibracadabra 08-13-2010, 12:27 AM Andy murray, nadal, bagdatis. The first two for their cake draws and bagdatis for his netcords but his flat hitting is the reason for this. adam10 08-13-2010, 02:06 AM murray Luinir 08-13-2010, 02:33 AM nadal? djokovic? murray? lol. MalwareDie 08-13-2010, 03:31 AM Parera StatRacket 08-13-2010, 03:46 AM nadal? djokovic? murray? lol. Depends how you interpret the question. Who is the luckiest to be in the top 30, or who in the top 30 gets the luckiest draws. As the opening post stated the later, the quoted players are not necessarily bad choices. Actually, I agree Djokovic's draws lately have been very soft indeed. Even though he's not in the top 30 at the moment, I would have to say Troicki. That guy seems to get kind draw after kind draw. Just look at his three best tournaments of 2010 (he earned 90 points in each). Doha semi - beats three players outside the top 55, Indian Wells R16 - get a bye, then a 1-0 ret, then a withdrawn, Roland Garros R32 - gets injured Robredo, then Ball (ranked 132). This same luck happened all of last year too, it's bizarre. Since he's been getting direct acceptances to Grand Slams, his first round opponent's rankings have been 56, 65, 188, 99, 142, 99, 78, 94, 26 and 104. careergrandslam 08-13-2010, 03:54 AM nadal has 8 slams. 58 weeks at number 1. 1 year end number 1. that is not lucky, that is just too good. careergrandslam 08-13-2010, 04:02 AM http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/7058/rafanadaltitlescollagev.png (http://img84.imageshack.us/i/rafanadaltitlescollagev.png/) 2003 08-13-2010, 04:03 AM Del Pot Smoke without a doubt. He relies on other players levels dropping in order to win matches. When players play a solid match, like Hugh Witt 2009 Wimbledon, Cilic 2010 AO, Federer 2009 AO/FO, he never stands a chance.
