I'd like to be wrong but I think Tomas in 3 is not an implausible proposition. After their two matches so far in 2010, he is certainly not afraid of Federer. Nonetheless he'll have to play at least as well as he did on the previous two encounters to make it 3 in a row and his start to this tournament has not been that convincing.

I want to say Berdych but this feels like a match Roger could win.

Roger will be out for revenge.

What I find interesting is prior to playing Federer in Miami and Wimbledon, Berdych was no where near impressive. In Miami he was decent at most, at Wimbledon he was pretty much horrible in the first 4 rounds though.

Apparently Berdych is injured.

Will certainly be an intriguing match, and we will be able to more accurately gauge where Federer's real game lies at the moment.

Both are not playing spectacularly well, but Federer has had some really solid moments out there, so if he can cut down on those random lapses, I think Federer should win this one.

Berdych just beat Brands in the past 2 months, so gotta go with him. Federer is a clown and these courts are too slow for him.

Berdych is playing worse then before and Fed vice versa + I think Fed is hungry for revenge.

This is going to be very interesting. Federer will come ready to play, the question is will he be able to execute? I really hope to see some better aggression and better slices from Federer tomorrow. If he plays the way he did at Wimbledon, he'll lose.

first real test for roger. important that he wins this. if he does he'll make finals. and if he makes finals he can win. that would really be huge for him at this stage.
