Just not his week. Arkulari 08-12-2010, 02:30 AM http://i35.tinypic.com/35d6ypw.jpg Lu is really clutch in TB :yeah: viruzzz 08-12-2010, 02:30 AM Look! A chinaman! hahahaha =D No, really. Lu rocks. The Magician 08-12-2010, 02:32 AM No matter how many clowns come and go , PHM will always be the GOAT choker :worship: Voo de Mar 08-12-2010, 02:33 AM Poor Mathieu and his ridiculous journey of tight defeats. A couple days ago 5:2 and match point up against Nieminen wasn't enough for him. He had to play as a lucky loser to get one more slap in the face. 6-3, 4:2 (30-30)... 5:4 (30-0) in the final set, 5:4 in the tie-break, and double fault at match point down without even trying to risk the second serve... :hatoff: shuhrat 08-12-2010, 02:35 AM Lu :yeah: What a fighter! :worship: Another painful loss for PHM, gotta feel sorry for him  SERVivor 08-12-2010, 02:43 AM once correction. mathieu was up in the last set 5-4 but it was 0-30 on Lu's serve so at least Mathieu didn't choke the game from 30-0 on his own serve. The stats show a few things. Mathieu was ouplayed on second serve points, he didn't come to the net enough and its suprising Lu has more winners. With Mathieu's power advantage that shouldn't happen. It leads me to believe he isn't moving well at this time. Javier Bardem 08-12-2010, 02:45 AM it's just another very tight loss in the same week for PHM, he shoulda had this one Jimnik 08-12-2010, 03:32 AM Awesome win for Asia's finest. Lu again entering new territory. This win puts him in the top 40 for the first time. Remarkable achievement for someone with more losses than wins this year. allpro 08-12-2010, 05:24 AM impressive stuff from yen-hsun pork as of late. Ad Wim 08-12-2010, 06:16 AM PHM dfs on mp. Just not his week. The sarcasm :haha: garytennis 08-12-2010, 06:44 AM I haven't seen the match, but when I saw the result : poor Paulo ! careergrandslam 08-12-2010, 06:50 AM asia will be the next dominant tennis power. book it. it was america and australia before now its europe, next will be asia. even martina navritilova said it in one of her interviews. lu is from taiwan, and once tennis becomes popular in china, watch out. chinese are pretty darn good at these racket sports. i.e table tennis and badminton. its just a matter of time, u need someone to inspire the fans, then it becomes popular. just look at womens golf over the last 10 years, asians dominate that. Jimnik 08-12-2010, 06:56 AM Remarkable to think Lu is the only Chinese player in the top 300 and the only East Asian in the top 100. Before him Srichaphan (Thai) and Lee (Korean) were the only Asians to make the top 40. Even though hardly any Thais or Koreans ever make the top 300. Interesting how these anomalies pop up every now and then. Goes to show these countries all have talent but no tennis infrastructure. HattonWBA 08-12-2010, 07:41 AM Sums up Mathieu career. Can he win a tight match? Anyway congrats Lu latso 08-12-2010, 09:24 AM Paulo needs urgent therapy. I like the guy, he is very talented and shit, but upstairs smth's not right  Johnny_Bravo 08-12-2010, 09:48 AM he really should have taken this one...set up,break up in the 2nd,then a mp in the final set tb...no comment cutesteve22 08-12-2010, 10:02 AM great win cutesteve22 08-12-2010, 10:04 AM Remarkable to think Lu is the only Chinese player in the top 300 and the only East Asian in the top 100.
