i think you mean xavier malisse

anyway a completely rediculous choke by malisse from 5-4, 30-0 up in that first set

maybe he would not have won but he certainly should have taken that first set and made this a 3 setter

Malisse deserved that first set.

Expected anyway.

malisse choked at 5-4 when he served for the first set and after that it was all over.

How was Murray's level? Better than in LA?

LOL the OP obviously isn't a real Murray fan. How embarrassing. That's ok though, he only has like 3 real fans anyway.

Never in doubt here. I'd say Murray was playing about the same as in LA....didn't really have to do much more.

He has quite a few, it's just that we keep very quiet on here. 25 to life says more than enough to cover all of us!

That was a pathetic choke from Malisse. He should have won that first set. Murray is lucky this didn't go further. If it wasn't for stupidity, this match might have been more interesting

Murray was too good in that game
Great defense, Malisse had no answer.

First set Murray was rusty, slow, poor errors. Played three brilliant points to break at 4-5* though, and then Malisse fell apart.

I don't think Malisse choked, Murray played well to get that break back in the 1st set.

Malisse didnt choke the first set, typical ignorance by people who dont watch it. Murray came up with a few superb shots then dominated. The serve looked good and the backhand was impressive. After the dire performance against Querrey this was better.

Murray dosent look particularly confident atm, but he is playng some decent stuff every now and then his shot making ability really shone through this match, but he dosent look like a guy hoping to lift the trophy on Sunday, but one match at a time...who knows?

I was pleased to see Murray attacking Malisse's second serve, and throwing in a couple of serve and volleys on his own serve, but his instinct is still to defend.

There were occasions where Malisse put in a mid-court defensive shot which Andy punched deep, but instead of coming in to the net he retreated back to the baseline and allowed Malisse back in to the point.

Good but not great.
