Nando was 6-0 4-1* up and had a MP at 6-0 5-4* Ad-40 which he hit a horrible BH into the bottom of the net. :o

This was looking rather routine from Verdasco...then I looked away and of course he made it way tougher than it should've been

Geez Nando keep your head in the game. That second set was just lame, no need to extend these worthless easy opening round matches.

Verdasco has been regressing into his old mug self :o Looks like that run of good form after his davis cup win a couple of years ago is over.

Everyone said that last year after a slow start to the summer HCs and then he won New Haven and reached USO quarters. Don't write him off just yet. ;)

The Mug Verdasco reached his potential and overachieved in the proccess. From now on his inflated ranking should drop

LOL, unfortunately this is nothing new if you're a fan an have been following him for a while. I remember him playing against Montañes, and he was in the lead 5-0 but still managed to lose the set. :help: Oh well, he won in the end, so that's all that matters I guess.

Suprised Verdasco dropped a set. But a win is a win and he shoud improve. As for Schwank he really looked like a solid top 50 prospect a couple of years ago when he had solid main draw showins and ***** the challenger tour but has been a massive dissapointment ever since

Schwank still 'rapes' the Challenger tour now and that's the reason he's at a healthy 57 in the world right now. From October last year he went (in consecutive Challengers) Win, Semi, Semi, Win, Final, Win. He's made two ATP500 quarter-finals this year as well. Things aren't looking too bad for the 24 year old Argentine.
