There's a livescore thread for a good reason.
Tipsarevic rolled his ankle. He was lying on the court for a few mins before he hobbled to his chair.

jano went to return a a ball to kohlschreiber, slid and rolled his ankle and it was not a pretty site

this really makes me depressed janko was in such good form and now, after an injury plagued season he has another one

as he slid with his left foot, the right ankle caved in and it looks like a serious sprain.

Tournament organizers forced him to walk off the court on his own instead of giving him crutches. Geniuses I say.

Looks like a severe sprain to me, his us open appearance is in serious doubt.

Awful news for Tipsarevic, just as he was hitting good form at the start of the US Open series. I hope he will still be able to play at Flushing Meadows but from what I am hearing it sounds pretty serious. It would be such a shame if he is sidelined for injury yet again.

*sigh* Still 2 weeks away from the Open. Hopefully, it feels fast.

That really sucks. Hopefully he'll recover in time to play next week or at the US Open. Tipsarevic is starting to play better, and I expect better from him. I wish him a speedy recovery.

Kohli´s management wrote on facebook, that they´ve heard Janko will be fit for the US Open.
"Aufgabesieg gegen Tipsarevic. Gute Besserung Janko- wir haben erfahren, dass er rechtzeitig zu den US Open wieder fit sein wird. Philipp heute gegen Troicki."

well i hope thats true and if thats the case great

but i wonder if he'll go in playing as well as he has been or not
