Santi has a really, really good quarter, but I doubt it will matter. Hopefully he just makes the SF.

Riba-Aguilar is a nice R1 match. Riba-Schukin QF promises much.

RRH has a good first two rounds but the QF v. Huta Galung/Gremelmayr will be difficult. I think Denis has a good chance of making the final here.

All in all, it's a nice draw, hopefully it's a Santi v. Ruben final!

Anyone has the QD scores? Especially Gonçalo Falcão and Pedro Sousa...

The main draw is really good for a 30K.There are potentially some good clashes like Riba vs Schukin and Ventura vs Reister in 1/4, Shcorel vs Andujar, Gremelamyr vs Huta Galung in 2nd and possibly Gremelmayr vs Ramirez Hidalgo in 1/4.

Riba is my favourite to win here but not the only one especially considering that there are some players that are doing it pretty well lately. Definitely Riba is more focused on his ranking than nothing else.

Nice draw for Pedro Sousa: WC . Very good chance to add some points to his 3 points, so far...

I think that he has a good potential, against Munoz a few weeks ago and today against Ramos he played a great first set (today was up 51, wasted 5 sp on his serve at 54, before closing 75) and then he disappeared from the court. :smash:

Impossible to tell what exactly happened without actually seeing the match, but I think the end of the first set (especially those wasted set points) exhausted him - both physically and mentally - and he had very little left in the tank for the following two sets :shrug: But his results at Challengers seem promising to me, and I'm sure he'll start winning matches soon.

Not too surprised about Aguilar over Riba. Not after seeing Pere a couple of weeks ago against Pippo. He looked mediocre and injured. He doesn't have much to play for anymore since he's solidified a top 100 position. And Aguilar plays good ball when he isn't missing shots everywhere.

RRH eventually defeated Aranguren 6-7(5) 7-5 6-3. Great win for Ruben on the brink of defeat.

And Santi won over Fornell-Mestres 6-2 6-4. Hopefully he can go deep here, but I'm worried about Reister in the QF if they play.

Pablo lost at home to Dasnieres de Veigy. That is about as bad as it gets. I'm happy though because I can't stand Pablo at all.

I hope Santi can keep the wins going but I'm not sold. But with both Riba and Schukin losing, the top section of the draw is a little light now, so hopefully he takes advantage.

Congrats for Ramos Viñolas for his victory here that is going to help him to raise in the rankings close to the top 120. He had a good week with some good victories like the ones over Schoorel and Ramirez Hidalgo.

It was good week for Paire too and especially that victory in SE over Reister.

Important win for Albert, as he has two finals and a SF to defend within the next months. He's got a good amount of ability, I always thought if guys like Berlocq, RRH and Lorenzi can hang in the top 100, he could to. Hopefully this is the start of big things for him.
